What they need is the best personal protection that money can buy. People have been murdered and disappeared for far less money than they hundreds of billions involved in shady or illegal payments.

They probably don’t have the details. They are doing dumps of data from different data streams, and likely cross referencing against other streams.

For example, running payments against contracts/grants and then against parent companies. The examples of the Lutheran Refugee payments across a bunch of companies shows how this works.

They are likely running payments against SSN and TIN and pulling out those which have none. (EVERY business/person should have an SSN/TI N to do business in this country.)

With understanding how large pieces of information are used, and with the computing power provided by AI systems, they can crunch HUGE amounts of information in almost no time.

The key is cross tabbing the information across data from different departments.

They are going to find Billions of dollars dripping off these transactions like crumbs falling off a table.

DOGE is the vanguard of what I hope is the beginnings of the end of the $3+ trillion, 8%+ unconstitutional portion of the federal gov’t.

If I’m right, with God’s help, America will have miraculously recovered her Free Constitutional Republic.

Any evidence (bank transactions, receipts with signatures, emails, texts, memos, invoices, purchase orders, etc) should have previously been in digital form, so it shouldn’t take that long to download. DOGE has had plenty of time to do that already.

I’m guessing these guys can grab whatever they want from wherever they want...from wherever they are.

Almost everything is backed up in the cloud today...or attached to some server where it can be grabbed.

I think you’re right.

It must be EASIER and save a bunch of time to go to the source..I dunno :)

I don’t know but their critics are ageist. Bigoted against young people and afraid of better ideas that will lead to their obsolescence. DOGE is just the start. Many of us will be replaced by automatons in due time, too.

But considering that most of the economy is digital, it shouldn’t be too hard to compile the transactional databases. Sifting through it, auditing it, checking on the status and progress and workmanship and results will be the hardest part. Which is possibly an argument for cutting nearly all of it and forcing everyone to re-apply and justify their needs.

A good manager never asks a question he or she doesn’t already know the answer to. It’s the process of the question and the response that determines the next step.

I agree with your premise, I surmise President Trump is already planning action on each agency.

Its a tangled web, and I am sure they are strategizing on the best way to disassemble it.

It’s really just a small set back. Pres. Trump will see to it that they get what they need, through some back door or whatever. No problem.
