President Trump announced Friday that he is “immediately revoking” former President Joe Biden’s security clearances and access to daily intelligence briefings – telling The Post he doesn’t “trust” his predecessor with such sensitive information.
Trump, 78, argued in a Truth Social post that the former president set the precedent when he barred him from receiving access to the same briefings four years ago, citing Trump’s “erratic behavior.”
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump wrote.
“Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings,” the president continued. “He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents.”
Trump also succinctly explained his decision to revoke Biden’s access to classified material in comments to The Post.
“Because I don’t trust him. He’s not worthy of trust … To safeguard national security,” the president said.
Ex-presidents and other former senior officials customarily retain access to classified information.
Allowing former presidents to continue to receive intelligence briefings has historically been done in case a sitting president needs to consult with his predecessor for advice on how to handle a particular situation.
Biden, 82, blocked Trump from receiving intelligence briefings in February 2021, telling CBS News that the 45th president should not be privy to US secrets “because of his erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection,” referring to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
”I just think that there is no need for him to have that intelligence briefing,” Biden added. “What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”

As long as they retain their security clearance, they can be read into a situation and offer their ideas - insofar as a vegetable has ideas on anything.

Joe Biden hasn’t been thrown under the bus, he fell out the back door as a victim of circumstances on the road to MAGA. He’s a tumbleweed now, back there in the desert of the political landscape.

Being that Biden used his office for personal gain (Hunter, Ukraine) and other anti-American agendas (too numerous to list) - Intentional failure to protect the borders, for one example
This is meant to stop Biden’s handlers from having access to the information.

And cuts off MONEY coming to the Biden Crime Family!! They can’t SELL what they don’t have!!
Presidents, Senators, and Congress don’t have background check security clearances. They’re granted access soley by the virtue of their elections on a need to know basis. Brandon’s access was denied.

The real reason he cut him off is because Bidens handlers will twist and contort the intelligence to ramp up another impeachment. The information will be used like a knife to plant in Trumps back.
I will speculate that the Biden security briefings have a long tail that flicks cash or favors onto the Biden Crime Family every month.
