Should Minnesotans be allowed to consume a beaver that damages their property?

It’s the third-biggest question surrounding the animals in Minnesota, right behind the age-old question of “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” and “Who eats beavers?”

A bill introduced by DFL State Senator Grant Hauschild aims to answer at least one of those questions by once again allowing Minnesotans to eat any nuisance beavers they killed.

You gotta eat what you kill or you are just wasting the animal’s sacrifice.

Considering the sexual orientation of most of the women in leadership position in the Minnesota Democrat Farm Labor party they best not outlaw eating beaver.

Kind of surprising, actually. Beaver pelts are pretty much the ONLY fur holding any value these days.

That’s probably got something to do with it. Trappers are VERY VOCAL when it comes to who, what, when, where, why and how they trap.

Raccoon/Deer/Waterfowl hunters are constantly at odds with them in our WI DNR meetings.

Ah...maintaining composure..one quip isn’t worth me getting booted for :)

BUT when eating one, make sure you know where it’s been.

Those beavers can carry diseases!
