Today's House Oversight Committee hearing saw fireworks when Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) used an offensive term for transgender people, leading to Rep. Gerry Connolly's (D-VA) admonition and her repeating it again and again.

The source is the chicom Forbes so not surprised by the title. Sure, not all their vid clips are anti-conservative but knowing that they are owned by the chicoms diminishes what they publish in my eye.
I guess the title is valid, except for the Slur part. That’s not a fact in my worldview.

Trannies: transvestites (which they also hate) or transsexuals, which is a BS word. So trannies should be an acceptable word.
(I prefer “troons”: transvestite goons, but that’s just me; I mean, some of these guys in womens’ sports are hulking ... goons, in the hockey sense of the word.)
If they succeed in cowing/shaming people into using “transsexuals,” before too long *it* will become a slur and they will demand we use an even more absurd word.
