New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday told hospitals that they would be violating state law if they stop offering gender-affirming care for people under age 19 in response to an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at curtailing federal funding for such treatments.
In a letter, James, a Democrat, told health care facilities that refusing to provide the treatments would violate New York’s anti-discrimination laws.
“Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws,” her letter reads. …

You forgot to check your ignorance and antisemitism. Jewish circumcision is obligated in the Torah. It does not interfere with sexual relations. Circumcision is certainly NOT “transgender care”. It does not attempt to change the gender one is born with into another gender, for sexual purposes.
Islamic clitoridectomies are intended to deprive women of sexual pleasure, so that they will not stray sexually from their husband. Two totally different procedures with two totally different purposes.
Oh really? Jewish boy babies are circumcised on their 8th day of life, unless there are medical reasons to delay it. It is obligated in the Torah to have male babies circumcised. This, like the Torah, has not changed.
That story is dated 13 years ago. There has been attention in the community paid to preventing any recurrence of such a tragedy. Are you an ABC news devotee?
You refer to a Torah obligation as "evil"? The Torah does not ask us to do evil things. You have a heck of a nerve to refer to Jewish ritual circumcision as "evil". You may not, in fact, actually be a hater, but you ARE an ignoramus.
I can see how my comment could be misconstrued. I didn't mean Jews didn't do it anymore.
I meant it has become mainstream and not associated with the Jewish religion anymore.
I am 100% entitled to observe MY religion without being required to adopt parts of YOUR religion.
It is your belief that the Torah does not ask people to do evil things. It is not mine nor that of any rational person.
Repeating anti-semite multiple times still doesn’t make it so and never will. You are, of course, free to offer your worthless opinion.
I don’t think even the hospitals are dumb enough to take her “legal advice”.
And so NOW you are calling the Torah irrational. Boy, you know how to step in it, don’t you? You have clearly identified yourself as a dyed in the wool idiot as well as ignoramus and antisemite. Your opinions are therefore WORTHLESS to any thinking person. Blather away and waste more bandwidth!
What are you talking about? What precisely is “your” religion and who’s trying to stop you from practicing it?
