The Food and Drug Administration has reclassified a recall of chocolate products to its most serious level.
On Dec. 12, 2024, the Cal Yee Farm LLC of Suisun Valley, California, issued a recall for several of its chocolate and yogurt-covered products, as well as its trail mix and toffee, due to undeclared allergens.
"People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C #6 and almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products," according to a release from Cal Yee Farm that was published on the FDA's website at the time.
The products were sold in nine states — California, Arizona, Virginia, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, Ohio and Pennsylvania — the release said.
The company also operates an online store.

Again fear mongering. It is the label they are recalling not the Chocolate.
Good call.
“ due to undeclared allergens”
Nothing wrong with the food.
They should just issue a warning not a recall. But I doubt there are folks with allergies who do not know Chocolate also contains milk.
It is always over kill. That is how they destroy markets. Now because it has been falsely represented the whole Chocolate industry is going to take a huge hit overall.
The FDA is busy killing off small producers who cannot survive a hit like that.

Yep, I think so too. Part of the Corporatocracy Monopoly agenda.
Someone who wants to get to communism, can do so by having all small businesses be replaced by a manageable number of large corporations (Amazon replacing small retailers, big agribusinesses replacing small farmers, etc)
And then just have government control the large corporations.
It’s called National Socialism.
Good point.

Call it Lead Chocolate, not Milk Chocolate.
