Plane in Philly Crash Was Transporting Mexican Child Home After Months of “Life-Saving Treatment”

A plane that crashed in Philadelphia this week was transporting a Mexican child and her mother back to their home country following months of “life-saving treatment” in the U.S., according to reports.

All six crew members and passengers onboard the doomed Learjet 55 have been identified as Mexican nationals.

On Friday, a Mexico-based Jet Rescue Air Ambulance bound for Tijuana slammed into a neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia moments after takeoff, igniting fires that scorched residences and incinerated multiple vehicles.

All aboard the air transport were killed, along with a victim on the ground, and at least 19 more were injured.

On Saturday afternoon, an X user called Detroit Dutch who describes himself as a former employee at the Department of Defense Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center broke information about the crash victims that was previously unreleased.

“The whole crew was Mexican Nationals (Mexican Doctors and Nurses) and the passenger was a Mexican minor being treated at the Shriner’s Hospital there in PA for free, and after treatment was being flown home,” Detroit Dutch reported.

Those details were later corroborated via officials at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. “She’d been with us four months and had formed some deep bonds with a lot of people here,” hospital spokesman Mel Bower told the New York Post. “In addition to her caregivers, she also had close relationships with other patients.”

“It’s a loss that’s being deeply felt by everyone who knew her. I was there (at the hospital) today, and it was very clear how deeply everyone felt about her. What happened was unthinkable.”

Detroit Dutch speculated about the age of the aircraft and the also experience of the pilots in a subsequent post.

“It would be nice to know how old that Lear Jet was? How many hours on the airframe? These ‘old’ Lear jets have outlived their time, but companies like this life flight service keep them in the air for cheap. They also use pilots with low hrs (as it was a Mexican Flight),” he stated.

Another X user responded to him with a screenshot indicating the Learjet may have been 43 years old.

Passengers aboard the air ambulance, which was scheduled to land in Tijuana following a layover in Missouri, included two pilots, a doctor, and a paramedic, all of whom were Mexican citizens.

“At the moment we know that our head of neonatology, Dr. Raúl Meza, was part of the crew of the XA-UCI air ambulance belonging to another company where Dr. Meza also provides his professional services,” Mexican private emergency service XE Médica Ambulancias explained in a statement on Saturday.

“Dr. Meza studied medicine at UNAM, graduated as a pediatrician and neonatologist from the National Institute of Pediatrics and is a physician assigned to the NICU at ISEM Atizapán.”

InfoWars will continue to monitor this story as it develops.

It sounds like the patient was an infant. This is sad.

No good deed goes unpunished, I guess the saying goes.

Fortunately it does not always occur, but in this case it did in spades. So tragic.

Have they determined what caused the stall to occur?

I figured that was probably the case, but I haven’t looked because I’ve been busy doing honey-dos.

FOR ONE THING, THE JET MAY HAVE BEEN 43 YEARS OLD!

And I would bet that Mexican A/C maintenance isn’t up to world class standards.............

This may have been merely a case of “spatial disorientation”, they entered the soup at about 400’, ADSB data shows this is about where they failed to make a 50 degree turn to the right, turned slightly to the left instead while gaining altitude to about 1500’ then it all started going bad. Some aviation insiders are looking seriously at this scenario. Mexican pilots not accustomed to the dense cloud cover in the Northeast last night may be the simplest answer.

There was a report that an oxygen bottle was found a few miles from the crash site.

These bottles are filled to 3000 -4000 psi and if the valve breaks off, the bottle becomes an unguided missile. If the bottle explodes it's like a bomb going off.

At our research lab back in the day a grad student was moving a compressed nitrogen tank from the gas racks to his lab with the cap off. The tank fell off the cart and the fall sheared the valve off the tank.

The tank was propelled through a steel door and went through a brick wall and several sheet rock walls before it stopped. It's very possible that compressed gas bottle failure was involved in the crash.

Not sure if it is still the same way but each Shriner’s Hospital had their own specialty. The one in Philadelphia was orthopedics. Another specialized in burn victims. They could treat using experimental treatments since they took no money from the patients nor the government.

Anyone know why the ATF has been at the crash scene?

Cartel involvement might explain the presence of the ATF on scene...

Yeah, that is getting a little long in the tooth for an airplane that most likely is still used quite often.

Tragic event all the way around.

My wife, who was not my wife at the time. had this flight crash into her neighborhood in Kenner La., that was caused by a microburst:

Pan Am Flight 759
