DEI is an acronym for “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” DEI is a concept in the business world designed to value people’s individual differences, ensure everyone has equal opportunities, and create work environments in which everyone feels welcomed and respected. The stated intention of DEI programs is to support people who come from varying backgrounds and give them the resources they need to thrive in the workplace.
Taken at face value, DEI aligns with biblical principles. It is good to value and respect people, support fairness, and allow opportunities. It’s the implementation of DEI that often causes problems, as the baseline for “fairness” fluctuates from merit to skin color or the “opportunities” are weighted more toward one demographic than another.

Normally I’m in agreement with gotquestions.org. However on this one I think they missed what DIE really is.

It is institutionalized, systemic racism. Period.
The purpose of DEI is to deny promotions based on merit. Instead award them to specific desired categories. It always results in incompetence and resentment.
I usually like the got questions website but they got DEI wring. DEI is first and formost about prioritizing physical differences like skin color above actual diversity gifts or talent.
It is not biblical in that the entire premise is to chose people specifically for thier physical traits or culture above the actual competence or gift.
They really are stretching this article far on DEI when they should be putting more effort into explaining how it violates the actual principles of inclusion, DEI today would put a lesbian in a ministry above a white make who is actually gifted from God for a ministry all to ensure someone feels seen or represented.
The article is a very bad sign for that website and where it may be headed.,

Prove it to yourself: Do an internet image search for "vice president diversity equity and inclusion" and see what you get. After you look at the search response, you can ask yourself this question: How is it that black people make up 12% of the U.S. population but seem to have practically 100% of the VP of DEI positions? The list of corporate DEI VPs is the exact opposite of diverse, equitable and inclusive. Hmm. So maybe diversity, equity and inclusion has nothing at all to do with DEI programs.
OTOH, the DEI concept is a brilliant move by Dumb Democrats because you need literally no qualifications to be a corporate VP of DEI. Well, you must be black or maybe hispanic. But most corporations will prefer black candidates over hispanic candidates for the VP of DEI position. Remember, it's all about Dumb Democrats' "group politics" ... for the business world.
Dumb Democrats have pulled a fast one here: You can't call any of the corporate VPs of DEI "unqualified" to be VP of DEI ... because VP of DEI is a totally made-up useless position that has absolutely no job requirements. Anyone can do nothing, thus anyone can be a corporate VP of DEI. Everyone in the world is fully qualified for that corporate "position!"
What is DEI? Just another name for Affirmative Action or racism with good intentions.
