No wonder State Farm dropped the customers. One of the considerations is proximity to a Hydrant.
State Farm might have gotten word they are not operational.

State Farm, Farmers, and one other major insurance company pulled out of Ca. the 3rd name of company escapes me!!! Jame’s Wood had NO insurance they cancelled him 4 months ago and he was unable to find insurance for his home!! Jame’s Wood home survived EVERYTHING around him was destroyed this was the hand of God an absolute miracle!!! I am so thankful God watched over him he has endured the wrath of Hollywood for speaking the truth!! He was also the person that tried to warn the FBI that he was on a flight where he thought the 9/11 terrorists we’re doing a dry run, of course he was ignored!!

Sheesh, stupidity on parade. New tanks, new reservoirs, don’t take reservoirs out of service unless substitutes are available, test the hydrants, model water demand in such firestorms to properly size the water systems, replace ancient pipes, stop sending water out to the Pacific in big winter years.
Better yet, build emergency pumping stations on the coast that will fill the pipes with seawater. It would be a final backstop solution if everything else failed. San Francisco uses such a system which has been quietly sitting there 113 years waiting to be called into service (it is tested regularly to be ready).
It ain’t rocket surgery.

So he can answer, “We formed an independent group to study what mistakes the locals made in that situation and we found blah blah blah climate change, blah blah blah, budget cuts, blah blah Trump’s fault.”
