I am recommending listening to the first hour and change of the linked interview, in which his thoughts are well fleshed out. Part of my reason to bring this up is to give Ziehan some credibility, but there is also the context of whether we, as individuals and as a group, believe that the coming "Trump era" has the possibility of becoming the foundation of a prosperous, positive-going period for the US. Echoes of Reagan. I suppose and suspect that we all want to believe that, but the world is currently operating at a chaos level that makes that vision hard to imagine. Key takeaways from Rogan/Ziehan:
1: Russia DOES want to annex most of the rest of Europe, and it HAD TO get this going NOW because Russia is facing a demographic collapse of military-aged personnel that will never get better than it is now. And, there has never been a war in which Russia did not lose 1/2 million men in the first year.
2: China is completely effed over the next ten years. China is the biggest importer of food and energy. While nothing Ziehan said precludes the idea of China becoming more aggressive than it already is in the meantime; his outlook is something the CCP cannot not see.

Zeihan is a complete shill for the Deep State and is totally against Trump to a bizarre degree. I think he’s CIA propaganda and nothing else.
Zeihan is garbage and a Deep State mouthpiece for anyone half knowledgeable who has seen his content can attest.
Zeihan is a good example of a “smooth talker” who sure seems knowledgeable about some things and people sit at home and say “I’m being educated” but then he starts talking about a topic which the home viewer is actually knowledgeable about and they say “This is crap! The man is a fool! He’s making this up! He doesn’t know what he’s talking about!” and then Zeihan will shift to something about Bulgarian oil pipelines and the home viewer once again nods their head and says “I’m learning a lot”. But you aren’t being educated. It’s all BS. He’s a Deep State manipulator.
I am not sure China and Russia going in the toilet necessarily means the United States will prosper.
The scale of the new industrial revolution coming is currently beyond the comprehension of most people.
Russia does not want to annex ‘most of the rest of Europe.’ It only went to war after NATO built an army in the Ukraine, promised Ukraine NATO membership, and was using its biolabs on the public, built some biolabs upwind of Russia’s border.
Russia tried to involve the UN but the UN refused to review the documentation/report Russia suggested, and the US was represented, sneering the accusations were ‘baseless.’
Within a few days of NATO’s overthrow of the Ukraine (Our CIA helped made it happen, and Trump pointed to the participation of our State Department in overthrowing the Ukraine), Russia annexed a buffer zone.
Russia doesn’t have the resources to ‘take over the world.’ NATO tried to use the support of the US (proxy war) arsenal to force regime change in Russia.
With their puppet in place in Russia, and Biden-the-Puppet in place in the US, NATO would have control of two nuclear super powers. It’s NATO that wants to rule the world. NATO-WHO-UN-WEF - these are tentacles of the Deep State trying to take over the world.
China will enjoy the same revitalization that the USA enjoys as a result of AI—even though their population will decline.
I’m already reading reports that the chinese population is significantly less than 1.3 billion. Maybe something more like 800 million.
I have read an austrailian head of state and members of the chinese media say that china only has a two year window to invade Taiwan. After that, the window closes.
With Trump the president of the USA—china’s window of opportunity may already be closed.
I’ve also read other Chinese writers say that the natural outcome of the Ukraine war will be that the USA and Russia draw much closer together in something like the inverse of the 1971 Kissinger lead rapprochement with China.
