Checked on some friends in the area. They currently check safe. But, WOW! Like the fires in the Sierras a while back except highly congested population in this case.

A wonderful thread. Thank you for your caring for the LA Freepers. This breaks my heart. I even have some empathy for the liberals in the region. This is nothing short of Biblical, in scope.

A lot of people here badmouthing Californians seem to forget that the founder of this forum, Mr. Robinson, lives in California - in fact, if he’s still in Fresno, he’s in a place which also experiences wildfires.
(And if I recall, one of the flags I see most frequently on FR homepages, is the California one.)
