AI tells me the average woman marathon runner does it in 4:48.

Article says she has a part time job and has a family of 5. Also has a hamstring injury.

I say she’s nuts. She’ll need knee replacements very soon

Reminds me of this guy who ran across Africa. Even if you do not like the style of the person doing the interview, watch this entire video. You will not be sorry.

"I must say, I really — I underestimated it," she said in an interview on Saturday with All Things Considered host Scott Detrow. "The toughest part was actually the mental part of being at the start line every day again," she said.

Much like getting up for work every day, year-in/year-out, to go to your job. When you gotta swing your legs over the side of that nice soft, warm bed, it's probably your most heroic act of the day.

She’ll be dead in 5 years. The human heart was not meant for such abuse. It’s a muscle. It hardens like a worked muscle. Needs to stay supple. Stupid idea. She may as well smoke 2 packs a day.

The toughest part would be beating your knees, ankles and feet to death.

Hilde Dosogne is an assumed name. In reality, she is known as Rosie Ruiz. (IYKYK...)

It is a mental problem to be so driven by the desire for fame.

At my best I did 5 miles a day, 5 days a week for few years in the military... That was 40 years ago. Now we walk to the mailbox which is .4 mile one way but a 17 degree slope which is tiring come back and that’s with bad knees and a bad back.

The secret is to keep moving..when you stop it’s not good.

This lady may be nuts but congrats!

Hilde Dosogne

She looks like someone build for running and has a low, flat, modest stride.

I thought about doing that. And it’s the thought that counts. Plus, the toughest part is mental anyway, right? That means I did the toughest part.
