Crisis negotiators have rushed to a scene in Las Vegas where a person has barricaded himself onto a bus.
The latest threat comes hours after a Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel, sparking fears of a coordinated terror attack.
Police are on the scene near Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard, along with SWAT teams and crisis negotiators.
It is understood a person barricaded themselves onto a bus, however it is not clear if there are others who are also locked inside.
The area surrounding the unfolding situation is closed to the public.
It is understood the incident was first reported to police as a person wielding a knife, according to 8 News Now.
Police have been praised for 'working overtime' today after earlier responding to a potential terror threat which injured seven and killed one.
The $80,000 car - made by Trump ally Elon Musk's company Tesla - was seen in a fiery blaze outside the front revolving doors of the hotel, killing one and injuring seven at around 8.40am.

Same here.
Do it like getting a pope. Have the Senate accept the vote of the electors next Monday as scheduled, then have the Majority Leader (Thune) go to Trump and ask him, “Acceptasne electionem de te canonice factam in Summum Presidentem?” Then when Trump agrees, ask him, “Quo nomine vis vocari?” Trump could then say, "President Trump," and it would be over.
Them is a perfectly good pronoun when gender is unknown. Try creating a sentence with a single person of unknown gender. Let’s see it.
RE: split personality....
Rodney Dangerfield:
I went to a shrink and he finally told me his diagnosis is I have a schizoid personality, there are two totally different people in my head. So then he gives me this big bill for his services. I told him: “Okay, here’s half. Get the rest from the other guy.”
Trump policymaker Stephen Miller makes statement on the terrorist attack in NOLA. "Islamist terrorism is an import. It is not 'homegrown.' It did not exist here before migration brought it here."
It is understood that Brittany is either an AI robot or English is her second language.
Or jornalism skool is worse than ever. :)
Don't they mean, "A person barricaded themselves onto a buses. . ."?
Let's make craven Communist illiteracy consistent, please!
The Vocabulary/Grammar Deficiency Disease has struck our dear Brittany. Tragic.
He would, except he's in vacation.
That's true. He is now at Camp David resting up from his exhausting schedule of sleeping on the sands of St. Croix.
And just say “The country is broke, we can’t afford it.”
Maybe some reporter needs to ask the LV police if the barricaded person is a male or female. Until that iota of journalist effort occurs, the Daily Mail could just use "himself" as a synecdoche.
BTW, shouldn't the statement be "barricaded in (or into) a bus" rather than "onto" (which could mean he has a barricade on top of the bus)?
The norm in English used to be he, his or him. Chances are a man when it is a crime story.
Sure. But they them has been hijacked and I want it back. Everybody now assumes it is some kind of code word for gender mixed or gender confused or gender trans when it just means unknown. I want my language back.
Brittany is a retard
I suggest you use another language for this purpose. Austronesian languages are ungendered, there is no he/she.
In Hawaiian (a language native to the US, note), you just say o’ iya (pronounced “oya” which is close enough) for he or she.
(my wife was learning Hawaiian at one point).
But thats not the most common Austronesian language in the US. That would be Tagalog, with 2,000,000 US speakers, and you would say “siya” for he or she.
So instead of using some weird English make do, when you are dealing with a person of uncertain nature, just say “oya” or “siya”.
They don’t think it be like it is, but it do
To be or not to be
Dooby dooby do
There was a documentary about this happening in Los Angeles
Mon Dieu!
Say goodbye to the English language.
the cyber truck driver is dead. Why don’t we know muhahhmed’s name yet ( just a guess) Could his complexion be described as “swarthy??” Again, just a guess.
