:)
Had to look him up.
Gold Leader.
I looked him up and still can place him in the film.
It was that long ago?!?!?!
Man, I’m starting to feel old.
Gold Leader took the first run at dropping the grenade down the ventilation shaft of the Death Star.
After he missed, Skywalker ordered him RTB and did the deed himself using the force.
grenade = thermal detonator
In the Y-Wing formation.
Is he the one who said “negative, negative, it just impacted on the surface.”
Was he a Red or Gold Shirt?
Sounds right...
That was Red Leader, moments before being shot down by Darth Vader and crashing on the Death Star’s surface.
Came across as wrapped too tight for a bomber driver.
Rest in peace.
I move that “The Rebel AllianceFlag” be displayed at half-mast till the 4th of January, 2025.
Was that the Y-Wing squadron? The deathtrap, Douglas Devastator of outer space?
Wasn’t he a frequent guest on Red Eye?
What wsd the point if there might not be a base? Well, he had to butbwhere to ifbthe base was gone?
