Chile? A stunning, totally unexpected surprise. /sarc
Keanu Reeves is such a nice guy, stealing from him is almost like stealing from Mister Rogers. It’s very hard to see that happening.
Rolex Chili
I just registered that.
I had an opportunity to buy a certified used stainless Sub for about $3k back in 2012.
Stupidly, I passed.
Hard to find one for under $10k these days.
The thing about Rolex watches is, you will never lose money on one.
But they didn’t take his dog. Smart.
The problem with being living rich is that you have HUGE NUMBERS of strangers crawling around your house and properties - in order to maintain your appearance of wealth.
And while you (or your contractors) can screen and drug test anyone who enters your home...you CANNOT do that for the ‘friends’ of those that enter your home.
In other words, if I grew up locally and hung out with a sketchy crowd that had run-ins with ‘the law’, but instead I got a successful career, say a plumber - I would never steal from a customer (too easy to be caught, too much to lose), but I might just tell one of my sketchy friends where the goods are, and then split the proceeds with him.
Moral of the story - live modest, fix everything you can, and minimize the strangers that enter - REGARDLESS of how rich you are (unless a billionaire or something).
How are these thieves getting around the celebrities’ security systems?
Something fishy here. Inside job fishy.
“In one case, Reeves confronted an intruder in his library, while cleaners found the other days later in his pool.”
I need clarification.
What’s wrong with Casio?
Yeah, I noticed that too. You have to wonder if the one in the pool had multiple bullet holes in him or he was killed with a pencil...
Imagine that...I wonder if illegal aliens were involved /s
Better not kill his dog........
Bought a GMT Master II in the 80’s, when I sold it in the 2010’s I made a very tidy profit on it.
What kind of prick do you have to be to target Keanu Reeves? Thanks democrats.
I received a Submariner in 1986 as a gift from fiancee. She paid $3,600.00. New one today is over $11,000.00. Lousy time keeper but great status symbol!
Agreed, totally. He is so humble and leads a quiet life.
