With employees from various walks of life, the holidays can present both opportunities and challenges for fostering inclusion in the workplace. Ensuring that everyone feels respected and valued requires thoughtful planning and action.
Outside of the more commonly known holidays such as Christmas, New Year’s, and Labor Day, dozens of celebrations take place every year that most likely affect a few people in your team.
But it’s not enough to simply be aware of these differences. As the holiday season approaches, nothing highlights a sense of community more than embracing and appreciating the diverse beliefs in the workplace. Let’s take a look at the different strategies to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.

Malclom Forbes was a homosexual biker. The magazine is now owned by a company in Red China.
It’s an Indian holiday about the triumph of light over darkness. Good over evil. It’s generally like a week after Halloween. I only know this because we reached “critical mass” where I work.
Zackly.
Steve musn’t have any control anymore...he hates this crap.
Watch “The Office” Diwali party episode. It’s a classic.
“ Malclom Forbes was a homosexual biker.”
Actually true.
“Ensuring that everyone feels respected and valued”
What if they’re not valued and respected?
“nothing highlights a sense of community more than embracing and appreciating the diverse beliefs in the workplace.”
baaaahahah... horseshit.
That’s the truth.
Because why should you be peacefully happy about your life, surrounded by your nuclear and extended family, trusting in the salvation of Jesus Christ, when you COULD be stewing in guilt and feeling responsible for crimes you never committed against people who have never been Forcibly Indentured For Life Servants?
Exactly.
💯.
Well said.
And hopefully it stays that way!
"Inclusion" is dog-whistle for "Straight white males need not apply."
“ instead of just using traditional Christmas decorations, you might also include symbols of other cultural holidays, such as menorahs for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa-themed ornaments”
Kwanzaa themed ornaments?! Kwanzaa is a hate whitey holiday celebrated only by dbag left wing, guilt ridden whites
Not 100% sure, but I think it’s where their pagan god with 9 arms comes out and does the Kama Sutra… then they all eat curry.
When are they going to make MLK Day about being inclusive?
When are they going to make Veterans Day about being inclusive?
Nicely noted. I choose to listen to old time radio and tune out today’s cultural sewer. For me Christ lives and God will reign supreme in Heaven. Forever and ever!
Cheers
