Tactfully stated. I recently read somewhere that most content these days must use actors from the NBN Casting Agency. I presume that there is a law somewhere stating that requirement. Absent some law I cannot fathom an ad agency explicitly directing their message to 13% of the USA population and ignoring the 87%. Seems inefficient ...
Not surprised to see this. The interracial thing in commercials has gotten so constant that it must inevitably be mocked. It doesn’t help that they also seem to get the weirdest not to say ugliest people they can find.
If you only watched TV ads you would think that every couple in America is a black man and a white woman.

Some time ago I began eating HoneyNut Cheerios as my snack food. They are actually good and eaten dry are both flavorful and apparently nutritious. I discovered a really really good way to eat them is on ice cream. The cheerios give ice cream a crunch and some added flavor.

It goes beyond advertising. Look online or at a brochure for information on just about any American historic site or a museum dedicated to an American history event.
If you are a nonwhite family — or, even better, a mixed race family — and you want your faces plastered everywhere connected to the historic site, just show up. You are guaranteed top billing.
I have visited many, many sites on the East Coast, and I see very few or no nonwhite people at historic sites, yet the literature makes it look otherwise. These people are obsessed with race.
It really is this bad.
