Odd how this map glosses over the naval bases on both coasts which would by definition be targeted in a first strike.
Bangor, San Diego, Newport News
Looks like the future belongs to cockroaches and Florida man.
That doesn’t look like it would be very ‘healthy’ for my garden, my chickens, the mule, the dogs, the cats, the local wildlife, my steer and us. :(
I notice central Arkansas appears to be fairly safe even though it has Little Rock AFB and the missile silos all over the counties north of there.
You’re forgetting San Diego, Seattle, NYC, DC, San Fran, Baltimore, Philly, LA, and an assortment of other cities. If lucky, 5 million will survive the firstt few hours Ana a minority will survive into the next year.
Whew! That was a close one!
Even at the immaturity of that map, even with just the strikes on our misdile bases, over 2 thirds of the fresh water sources in the country is contaminated.
About 60 percent of the grain producing areas are contaminated.
No one is safe in a nuclear exchange.
Launch on warning would make all of the ICBM Launch Facilities empty holes before the first nuke hits them.
Oh, stop being so serious! I recall a bit by Bill Hicks where he said only 2 things would survive a nuclear war: Keith Richards (because of all the drugs), and bugs. “I saw a bright light and thought we were on....” (In a bad British accent.) There, don’t we all feel better?
I guess we will have to head up to BC immediately.
