Sunday evening I received this post on my newsfeed.
FROM HER DAUGHTER ON TRACY'S PROFILE PAGE: "This is to let everyone know Tracy past away 9:30pm cst last night {Saturday, December 7th}. She had a long battle with sickness and is now at peace. If you have any questions feel free to message on Facebook on her page. ["Tracy Russell" in search.]
Very sad news, and I hope Trussell rests in eternal peace. She was in very ill health. Thank you"

Prayers that she is at peace. Prayers for her family and loved ones to have the peace of The Lord in these days and every day. May memories bring smiles.
💐RIP💐
R.I.P. Trussell...
luvie I’m so sorry. Tracy was your dear friend, and a great Freeper. She hadn’t posted much in quite a while but I lost track. I’m so sorry. My deepest sympathies to you and her family.
RIP, Tracy.
See you at the after party.
Rest well, until all our paths cross again.
This makes me think... is there a ‘daily check-in thread’, to make sure us older folks are still around? If not daily, maybe weekly?
My God keep her children, and all who loved, close to His heart.
Rest in peace, Tracy
There should be!
So sorry to hear this news. She WAS ill for a long time, already having problems back in the days she hung out with us at the Canteen.
Sending prayers for comfort for her family.
RIP, Tracy.
Yes, she had issues then, but it got MUCH worse after she and EGPWS moved to Georgia. She ended up in a wheel chair. 😢
. . .
TRussell was quite a prayer warrior in the earlier days here.
May she rest in Heavenly peace. I will keep her two children and other loved ones in my prayers. 🙏🙏
| Yes she was. She forwarded her PW list to me when she was having lots of problems, and I use it to this day. Were you at the shoots that she came to? She and the kids were at the first and second ones. This picture of Trussell and her kids was at NYTexan's birthday party the day before the 1st shoot that was held in Houston.

Ah yes, the first shoot. I was over in the sandbox for that one, but made it to the second one in Port Aransas - the range with the adjacent livestock. That was where I met you for the first time, as well as NYTexan, mylife and cpdiii. (I can’t remember the specifics, but cpdiii had some cool guns that he let me shoot.)
The Eakers told me about that first shoot and showed me the trophy they made. I believe one of TRussell’s kiddos won the trophy for the first shoot?
That’s a nice pic. ♥️
Ah yes. Port Aransas. That was a fun one. Isn’t that the one when one of the ladies, who loved to be all dressed up, came in heels and got stuck in the mud on the range? Funny.
cpdiii also made us some awesome BBQ for a few of the shoots. Probably not that one. I also remember the livestock. I was afraid someone was going to shoot one of them. LOL!
Yes, one of her kids won the trophy. It was cool. Those kids were good shots.
R I P Tracy.
You’ve been set free from all early burdens.
Thanks luvie for posting.
I only had a few occasions to meet with her here, but she was always kind to me, even as a newbie who made a lot of mistakes.
I’m always sad with any of the FReepers pass away. It’s like part of the Old Guard has hung up their guns for good.
Condolences to her family and all who knew her.
Grief has no rules.
