Jaguar (now Faguar) hasn't been a UK company for decades. Ford bought Jaguar in 1989 and the Tata Group out of Mumbai bought Jaguar from Ford in 2008.

Likely an unpopular opinion but I kinda like the body design. Not crazy about the front end but it would look a lot better in Ferrari Red with an LS 7 or Coyote under the hood. Naturally it would need an IRS transaxle. And made by somebody that’s not British. Learned a long time ago the Brits don’t build televisions because they can’t get them to leak oil.

In a somewhat interesting article, the Washington Stand carries a story by reporter Suzanne Bowdey which uses Alissa as it's opening paragraph's "hook:"
