Failure and corruption! Much like US Grant was.

I found a few in my truck the other day. I am waiting for an opportune time to place them.

Vietnam was a mistake. We didn't know it at the time.Wrong. A lot of us "at the time" knew it was way wrong at the time. And got our asses kicked for it whether we were in the military or not.

My Dad argued at yhe time, that it was weakening us, and he was right. The Soviet Union was able to pass us in Military Might to the point that Reagan had to run up a 4 Trillion Dollar Deficet to defeat them.

Wrong. A lot of us "at the time" knew it was way wrong at the time. And got our asses kicked for it whether we were in the military or not.Let's say there's a hypothetical military draft for a war in Syria. No way that it's going to happen.
We were able to pull it off for Vietnam.

#2:
"Corruption incarnate." Biden keeps giving money away. How and under what authority? Did congress authorize a Biden "walking around money" fund? Today I heard more Biden Bucks to Ukraine, money to Angola. And yet, we have Americans in North Carolina living in tents in below freezing weather.
What a feckless congress! They have totally relinquished their role. Congress: toe tappers, white shoes, stinking of prime rib and Maker's Mark.

Yeah, I think I'd put Johnson in the category of the worst, but not as bad as the others.
I think the only great Presidents were Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Reagan, and Trump--maybe Lincoln, maybe Truman.

About a year ago, some historians doing presidential rankings had Biden as the 14th best president in American history. Those same historians had Trump in last place.
Too early to rank Presidents after Jimmy Carter. Not enough time.

Gilbert and Sullivan said it best:
... always voted at his party's call, and never thought of thinking for himself at all.
But instead of making him Ruler of the Queen's Navy, they made him President of the United States.
