Russia could end the war in Ukraine with a nuclear strike that turns the country into a "radiation zone", an ally of Vladimir Putin has chillingly warned.
Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev warned that the world is "on the brink of nuclear war".
Discussing the prospect of a Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine, he added: "There will be a radiation zone nobody will ever go into in our lifetime. And the war will be over."
-snip-
He added: "We want a long-term peace — some sort of general agreement about the global order. Trump wants to go down in history, he'll be 80 soon, he's a grandfather.
"Putin's not 50 anymore either. It'll be the legacy they both leave us."

I have read through quite a but of his comments. I think he is a die-hard "Republican" of the Liz Cheney sort. Or maybe Adam Kinzinger sort. Maybe even a Joe Scarborough sort.
In an interaction with me, he cited Paul Krugman regarding our massive national debt. So, probably a Kinzinger type, because he didn't go the complete "Cheney endorses Harris" route.
Best wishes, Texan.
President Trump will give Russia, Iran and North Korea a good spanking for getting in the way of his main objective which is getting China under control.
~~~
FAIL AGAIN!
President Trump will EXPOSE the corruption in Ukraine, the warmongers at the DOS and the sycophants, including the Ukraine spam pimps.
YOU are a one note wonder of propaganda.
The sick part is that either you’re paid for your spam, or, even worse, actually believe the equine squeeze that you type.
Your comment reminds me of this...
Rush; “For liberals, history began last week”
Russian oligarchs: The "go-to" people for objective, balanced news and analysis.
Stop commenting on this fool’s threads. It’s only here to cause trouble.
I kind of liked Putin's comparison with the "power of a meteorite."
Especially insofar as meteorites are what you call meteors that have already impacted.
Regards,
I think that you're confused here.
Ukraine has already been attacked by Russia with a nuclear-capable medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) - while Russia has not.
And the Ukraine is the only country being attacked by actual boots on the ground from TWO nuclear powers.
I'll begin taking Russia seriously when they succeed in regaining their lost territory in Kursk oblast.
Maybe also when at least 70% of their people have running water and indoor toilets.
Regards,
wildcard_redneck: Then why are we even there in the first place fool?
How many NATO boots are there currently on the ground in Russia, anyway?
Didn't think so, wildcard_redneck.
Regards,
No, Russia isn’t invading a foreign country, it is a Slavic civil war that is ongoing since the breakup of the Soviet Union.
Lavrov will eat Kellogg’s lunch. The 80 year old retired general’s diplomatic experience doesn’t even come close to Lavrov.
We shall see.
Well good news for you as Jon boy has picked up the slack and posts many times on the thread
That post was even more creepy
A lot of good it will do him if it’s radioactive.
After Chernobyl, Ukraine knows about radiation zones.
“I believe Belarus would be interested in the radiation wind patterns. Last time I checked, the winds flowed west to east.”
Russia seeded clouds to reduce the Chernobyl fallout reaching Moscow.
Now THAT would be a site to see!!
You ever see a nuke blast marcus pal?
It’s BEAUTIFUL...
Get your camera I know you’re over there fighting you ukraine patriot :)
