Russia could end the war in Ukraine with a nuclear strike that turns the country into a "radiation zone", an ally of Vladimir Putin has chillingly warned.
Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev warned that the world is "on the brink of nuclear war".
Discussing the prospect of a Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine, he added: "There will be a radiation zone nobody will ever go into in our lifetime. And the war will be over."
-snip-
He added: "We want a long-term peace — some sort of general agreement about the global order. Trump wants to go down in history, he'll be 80 soon, he's a grandfather.
"Putin's not 50 anymore either. It'll be the legacy they both leave us."

Sounds like he borrowed Kim Jong Un’s speech writer.
He forgot the “They will be incinerated by the fire of a thousand suns” part.
I believe Belarus would be interested in the radiation wind patterns. Last time I checked, the winds flowed west to east.
When a country that is being attacked in its territory by both NATO and America with long range, nuclear warhead capable missiles that has the world’s largest nuclear weapon stockpile and the proven means to deliver them on target makes a nuclear war threat - take them seriously.
The crazy nuke threats are not a good look for your side.
The “crazy nuke threats” are not from my side, they are the official statements from a nuclear power that has proven in the past to be willing to have tens of millions die to win a war. The Russians did not give up to Napoleon and Hitler and they certainly are not going to give up to midgets like Macron, Scholz, and Starmer. The Russians know what will happen to them as a people if they lose so they will not go quietly into the night, they will take creeps like you neocons down with them if that what it takes.
Our side -- meaning not only American and Texan but also Freeper --
I would rather the world end in nuclear war than yield to Little Pukin.Sometimes, it's just nice to recall....15 posted on 10/12/2022, 7:02:03 AM by SpeedyInTexas (RuZZia is the enemy of all mankind)

President Trump will eat Putin’s lunch in negotiations.
Where is Speedy? Speedy’s girlfriend PIF commented to me that he has been booted. I wonder why?
Are you comparing Putin’s crazy statement to some random basement dwelling poster’s crazy statement?
“President Trump will eat Putin’s lunch in negotiations.”
While I am certain Trump will do well for America in negotiations with Russia I doubt his intent is to punish Russia. President Trump is too smart to push for a deal that will only be broken later because it is too punitive. I expect to see something that both sides can live with and build upon.
Now to quote kiryandil, go back to abusing yourself with your special Zelensky sock.
President Trump will castrate Russia, Iran and North Korea.
SpeedyinTexas comments FRIn the last comment he grumbled that he voted "this time" for Trump "with hesitation."
As to PIF, he busies himself on that very long thread, posting "monetized" YouTube videos, as did the "reverend" for so long. A thread with over 9,000 comments seems so much like "public therapy" to me as they "glee-fully" share daily counts of death, from one side and studiously ignore the other.
What is for sure is that my bride and I voted in person and with great enthusiasm for pir previous and next President Trump, so no "hesitation."
Indeed but he would also end, at least, the Russian military in Europe.
Eisenhower came in and ended the Korean War by nationalizing the railroads and announcing he would be moving massive forces to the West Coast for a Korea surge.
Just saying. And the Chicom bastards were a lot tougher than the Russian bastards.
Hey maybe the Russians really are this crazy and desperate. This stuff will not go over well with Trump.
Well then maybe Russia will lose tens of millions again. That’s on them. I’ll go with whatever Trump decides.
Like all bullies,Putin is a coward. If he’s told in no uncertain terms that he will be targeted, he will back down.
But I trust in Trump.
And F Russia.
Isn’t this guy a character from Harry Potter?
Will you send me a picture of the bunker that you comment from?
Well….it IS Tuesday. That’s “nuke threat day!”
