After more than ten years of trying to write a memoir and all the craziness that's happened in my life (manic depression, swindling operation, running for office, almost flying off with a hundred grand of George Lucas's money among MANY other episodes), that a lot of people have asked me to produce, I can report that as of this afternoon the draft of the manuscript of my first book is finished!Some parts have been written over the years but it wasn't until three months ago that I truly devoted myself to the project.
Thought I ought to post about it because Free Republic and some of the Freepers make appearances in it.
Okay, that's 133,000 words that I have written. I'm going to play with the dog now :-)

I have that in mind myself. Have the subject matter but have a lot of records and photo’s to organize.
And then the structure.
Years ago, I ran a catalog department in a wholesale hardware company, lived in Quark, a spread sheet and data from an AS-400. The index of that was a monster. 47,000 items and 3,000 pages. Plus supplements.
