I’m trying to think of a “I can’t drive 55” joke.

They wouldn’t have been robbed if they could drive 55.

I wonder why these two don’t produce their liquor in America.

Laredo? Maybe they can see if Jim Hardie, the Wells Fargo Investigator, is still available. He would solve the crime and get it done in less than 30 minutes, no problem.

You know the movie “Goodfellas” where the characters Jimmy, Tommy and Henry worked the Idlewood NJ airport to check what cargo was coming in - then steal it?

Now imagine an entire country is Idlewood Airport.

That’s Mexico

Hagar has made a fortune in the liquor business, probably far more than he ever made with Montrose, Van Halen and solo combined. Smart business man.

But David Lee Roth was always a better front man.

trucks were illegally double brokered

https://www.freightwaves.com/news/is-double-brokering-legal

Brokers said that double brokering has been around since shippers started relying on brokerages to find trucks to haul their freight. Most agree that it’s legal as long as the shipper consents to the arrangement and the carrier hired to haul the load is also privy to the details and is paid.

However, freight brokers also agree that double brokering is fraught with risk and becomes illegal when a shipper specifies that its loads are not to be re-brokered.

The robbery reportedly took place in Laredo, Texas, just after the big rigs had crossed the border from Mexico.

I lived in Texas for ten years and stupidly visited Laredo/Nuevo Laredo one time. When I think of Laredo it reminds me of the scene from No Country for Old Men where Sheriff Ed Tom Bell witnesses the drug gang fleeing the motel where they just killed Llewellyn Moss.

Laredo is a place you want to stay away from.

I saw a video of Sammy and Fieri hop on a private jet to go visiting the Tool singer at his desert vineyard. Highly entertaining.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPadmX8VZxs
Tool frontman Maynard Keenan invited Sammy Hagar of AXS TV and Guy Fieri to his beautiful vineyard in Jerome, Arizona where he talked about his inspiration behind bringing wine to the desert. After offering a taste of some of his grapes, Keenan invited the visiting pair to sample the pizza at his food truck, which is driven around the state in order to connect the wine with the food.

The top of the line Tequila stolen was over three years old “extra Añejo” You just can’t replace over night. That hurt and it’s sad that this went down in the States, although I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cartels were involved.
