We have finally reached the end! Day #52 of the Top 50 songs on my iTunes playlist -- ranked in reverse order by play frequency from #50 to #1 and presented here on a series of FR threads. I've posted them here on a new thread that compiles the growing list one day at a time since early August. There are two "extra" days at the end because we had a tie at #50 and an Honorable Mention collection a few days ago.
To show my gratitude to the FR management for giving us all a forum to post vanity threads like this, contributions for both the 3rd and 4th quarter fundraisers have been committed. I would encourage everyone on these threads to do the same! :-)
Thank you all for your input and the great online conversations over the last few months. :-)
Here is one of my favorite songs. I used to play it before leaving for a day of hunting, but it’s motivational for any time!
Of Wolf and Man - by Metallica (with lyrics)

I thought about you on my commute home this afternoon. I have been remiss in responding and negligent in thanking you for sharing this adventure of great music listening.
For some reason it dawned on me on how each person’s music library has such an enormous body of sound to draw from, yet is limited by exposure and proclivities.
I do not think our lists intersected but a few times, if ever, but our listening has at least sparsely.
There is one song you recommended separately that I have really come to enjoy. “Run,” by George Strait. Even though country music is not by any means predominant in my library, it has a place albeit selectively. That’s a jewel right there.
Now, watch out for bulldozers!
George Strait's "Run" didn't make the Top 50, but it is one of my favorites and in some ways it is more than just a country song.
I am always alert for bulldozers and armored CATs in my neck of the woods. It's one of the things I've learned over the years here on FR. LOL.
