Cruciferous items, including watercress, Chinese cabbage, collard greens, kale and arugula — as well as leafy greens, like chard, beet greens, spinach, chicory and leaf lettuce — took the top spots on the list.

Now if the migrant pickers of watercress could poop in a toilet instead of near the bog grown watercress, I would enjoy it. Especially since it’s a raw eat, mostly unwashable crop. It’s ridiculously difficult to cultivate in a home garden environment.

Watercress is one of the seeds you can grow in the kitchen as sprouts/microgreens.

Now Swiss Chard could grow abundantly just about anywhere. Tolerates tightly packed close quarters too.

If this is coming from the CDC, I will regard watercress as highly toxic and avoid it at all costs.

I’m going to celebrate with a huge watercress salad...NOT!
I can’t remember the last time I ate watercress. It might be never.

If the CDC says it’s good then it probably causes cancer and autism.
