While checking out at Trader Joe's recently, my cashier mentioned that frozen foods are the specialty grocer's "bread and butter," and boy, was he right. Of all the many reasons that shoppers love TJ's, from affordable prices to top-notch customer service, the California-founded grocery chain has a freezer section that puts others to shame.

I do that with celery too and lemons. Waste not want not.

I have a lot of onions right now...It’s either Onion Soup or chop and freeze....pondering....
Same here...and planning a once a week cooking day so I won’t have to wonder “what’s for dinner?” for the hub and I. And, we do not use a microwave.
I don’t even own a microwave.
>Vindaloo industries?
I heard they have an opening for a latex salesman, you should do the needful
Their croissants (in the bread aisle, not frozen) are the BEST thing they sell. Freeze the thaw and they are just like fresh.
Next best thing (frozen) is their Brussel Sprouts. Delicious!
The Human Fund provides me with a free Festivus dinner.
Yep
I am, too. I also like the spicy chicken curry dish that was introduced about a year ago.
Trader Joe’s used to use alternative version of “Joe” for some of its ethnic dishes. For example, “Trader Giotto’s” was used for Italian dishes, “Trader Ming’s” for Chinese food, and “Trader Jose’s” for Mexican cuisine.
However a couple years ago, leftist protesters raised a stink, saying these cute ethnic versions of “Trader Joe” were racist. Trader Joe’s immediately caved and announced that they would phase out these names. One can still get Trader Jose’s bean burritos, but those will soon be marketed under the name “Trader Joe’s,” like everything else.
White Castle burgers have a cult following. The frozen ones are probably not nearly as good as the fresh ones, but they are the only ones you can get in places like California.
I know if Boston market meatloaf tastes like that in a restaurant, I would never go there.
Good to know ow. I just bought soda stream carbonated water maker and the lemons get stale before I use them up.
Bet they would do well sliced and popped into drink frozen.
Try the Kringle!
What a great idea!!
Will have to start buying the large bag of lemons, again :)
And I freeze left over Chicken French...the 10 minute lunch...
I know!! That slice, squeeze, or zest of lemon always seems to be the ONE ingredient I DON’T have on hand!!
We love our countertop oven .... leftovers reheat in minutes and taste as good as the night I made them. Is that what you use, to reheat?
Chicken French ... I just looked up the recipe ... similar to my Chicken Piccata.
Nope...regular frying pan...the trick is to make enough liquid so you have it to freeze...I suppose you could add a little butter olive oil and lemon to freshen it.
YUM!!
