This just in: the end of the world has been postponed.
The wailing of Democrats and their media mouthpieces notwithstanding, Donald Trump’s landslide victory is the dramatic course correction our nation and the entire free world desperately needed.
Its wide sweep offers the promise of progress on so many fronts that it already feels like Morning in America again.
The immediate benefits include both domestic and foreign gains.
They are examples of the “Trump effect” and should be seen as down payments on the progress to come.
American stock markets are booming in anticipation of his free-market economic policies and half of a migrant caravan in Mexico headed for the US turned back because of Trump’s plan for mass deportations.
The about-face came after he warned Mexico’s president he’ll impose 25% tariffs on its exports unless she stops caravans before they reach the US border.
It also counts as good news that Democrats have formed a circular firing squad in the hunt for someone to blame.
Nancy Pelosi, who helped push President Biden off the ticket, is complaining the party goofed by not making Kamala Harris go through a primary process before anointing her as the nominee.
Ya think?

Ritchie Torres, the savvy Bronx congressman, cut to the chase by writing on X that “Donald Trump has no greater friend than the far left, which has managed to alienate historic numbers of Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews from the Democratic Party with absurdities like “Defund the Police” or “From the River to the Sea” or “Latinx.”

RE: Historic Victory
Folks, don’t take this the wrong way…. I am ecstatic that Trump won, but in what way is his victory “historic”?
Good men and good women did plenty! They voted the Party of Hate and Evil out of office!
FTA.......the far left has managed to alienate historic numbers of
blacks and ethnics, including Jews, from the Democratic Party........
The Times of Israel reported Jews adhered to longstanding traditions
of voting Democrat in decisive percentages——between 65% and 80%.
<>One exit poll had the virulently anti-Israel Harris garnering 77% of the Jewish vote,
<>another had her at 71%,
<>and a post-vote analysis estimated Harris’ Jewish vote at 67%.
Source: Brandeis University
Approximately 1.8 million Jewish adult voters, just under one-third
of the total Jewish electorate, live in twenty-five Congressional districts.
Brandeis’ National Profile of the Jewish Electorate
Of the top twenty-five districts by Jewish population, nearly half are in NY —
NY10, NY-3, NY-12, NY-17, NY4, NY-9, NY-6, NY-8, and NY11.
The remaining districts with Jewish populations are found in seven states:
Florida, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
FL-21 has the greatest number of Jewish adults at 152,000.
With the exception of NJ-4, these districts are represented by
Democrats and all but two (NJ-4 and NJ-5) are Democratic-leaning districts.
I’m in MA and my wife and I both feel that the world has more activity and more happiness when we go out. Maybe that’s us. But it feels like the world has had a weight lifted off it and people are now free to live better lives. Even in MA.
Only Trump & Cleveland have won two non consecutive terms.
That’s my guess on the historic part.
What the other fellow mentioned (second president to get non-consecutive terms) plus we shifted Blacks and Latinos to our side... by the millions.
Only Trump and Franklin Roosevelt have won three consecutive elections.
I know I feel a lot better about the election & whats to come. Those who say they want to leave the country have said that before & how many have have actually left? I sure don’t know because I don’t miss them.
Actually, it is NOT historic! I guess there is nothing wrong with a hyperbolic reaction after four years of tyranny, though.
Do you know what was historic and and a real landslide? It was Ronald Reagan's win in 1984 with 525 electoral votes! And with only a few minor exceptions, he governed like it was a landslide and did a superb job.
Yep. That was what you call an over-the-top historic landslide!
RE: second president to get non-consecutive terms
Grover Cleveland’s second election was historic. But I guess being the second person to do it is historic in that it will be an interesting answer to history trivia questions many decades from now….
“…but in what way is his victory “historic”?
He fought The Borg and won.
I’m in Massachusetts too. One of the main things I’ve noticed is that way more people talk about their vote for Trump. There’s less of the feeling you had to be a “closet Trump voter” so to fool your liberal neighbors/family etc.
But yeah, that general feeling of optimism is there too. In my particular work place (heavy industry) people where/are thrilled about his win. From a business standpoint expectations are high. Inflation and high gas prices have killed us over the last 4 years.
Ladies, you can thank your men for saving the world from your sisters.
Very historic... certainly in MY lifetime of voting! It's likely I won't be fortunate enough to see this again, so I am enjoying all of it. Thank you President Trump!😁
(BTW, THIS victory sets the record straight on the previous election, as well...and everyone KNOWS it)
