President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has prepared executive orders and proclamations that would withdraw the US from the Paris climate agreement and open up western lands for drilling and mining, according to a report.
Trump’s energy and environment transition team – tasked with drafting these actions – includes his former Department of the Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and former Environmental Protection Agency administrator Andrew Wheeler, the New York Times reported on Friday.
Trump, 78, pulled the US out of the Paris accord early in his first term, arguing that it was ineffective because it allows countries to voluntarily restrain their own pollution and seeks to hold the US and other industrialized countries to a higher standard.
President Biden re-entered the agreement shortly after taking office.
During his campaign, the president-elect routinely pledged to once again withdraw from the climate agreement immediately upon taking office.
Trump’s transition team has also readied proclamations that would redraw the boundaries of the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments in southern Utah.
The president-elect reduced the among of land under management by the federal government at Bears Ears (by 85%) and Grand Staircase-Escalante (47%) during his first term, following an expansion under the Obama administration.
Trump argued that the expansion amounted to “a massive federal land grab” and an “egregious abuse of federal power,” and shrinking their size would “give that power back to the states and to the people where it belongs.”

I am getting tired of winning
The left whines when they hear ‘drill baby drill’ citing crude production is near an all time high. The issue they ignore is much of that crude production is being shipped offshore and not fed into our economy. That is of course part of the left’s plan to move the USA to an all-electric economy where bureaucrats can control your life from afar. Just push a button and your bank accounts are frozen or your EV won’t move.
It is likely that the new administration will re-direct much of the crude production back to us which will drive prices down.
Conspiracy theory time: as more crude becomes available to US refineries, should some consideration be given to hardening and protecting those assets? It doesn’t take much of an explosion to put a refinery out of commission. Same for some of the larger food sources. The left can achieve much of their goals (economic chaos) with just a few tons of high explosive.
Remember a lot of military aged vermin have crossed our borders in the last few years. It may be wise to consider the possibility that some of those are actually military or are at least trained on the use of H.E.
I am so looking forward to four more years of winning.
As dementia Joe has put us in jeopardy, I think Trump place our oil production as a priority. He should repurpose some inactive military bases for oil refining. Lease operations to the highest bidders and drill baby drill. Natural resources are abundant. Time for some 99 year leases. Energy independence is National Security and the left has weakened our nation

...and the thing is, some 70% of the world’s so-called ‘Greenhouse Gasses’ are in the category of ‘Emerging Economies’ where the targets are more voluntary than mandatory (as they are for the US and our slave states around the world, as in Europe, Japan and a few others). These countries include China, India, Russia, Brazil, and probably another 100 or so.
This ‘voluntary’ category was created only because the above countries (rightly) refused to agree to any hard caps, but the idiots in Paris were determined to have them sign something.
Excellent! These were two of the things I wanted to see done by executive order on Day 1 alongside freeing the Jan 6 political prisoners and gutting the leadership of the Pentagon, CIA, FIB and State Department.

IIRC. Ivanka opposed much of Trump’s green rollback especially international aspects like Paris. I hope she stays out of his administration.
