One of my dad’s favorite pig jokes. Another was:
A city guy is out driving in the country one day and sees a farmer up on a ladder in an apple tree. The farmer is holding a pig in his arms as the pig eats apples from the tree. The guy stops and asks the farmer what’s going on, and the farmer tells him that the pig really likes apples, so he’s feeding the pig apples, obviously. The city guy says, “Well, wouldn’t it be a whole lot quicker just to shake down a bunch of apples and let the pig eat them off the ground?”, and the farmer says, “I reckon so, but what’s time to a pig?”
I actually remember that one liner from the Space Age 1960s!
Still funny, but a little dusty after all these years.
This one is from personal experience...
Once long ago, I was casually talking with a co-worker at his desk and he was having trouble finding his scissors. “Where the heck are my scissors?” he said in frustration.
I replied, “oh, they must have cut out”.
lol. Did he beat you up?
No, he only groaned and said “that’s bad”.
I worked with a guy for years who was a world-class punner. He could crack hilarious puns like yours for any occasion. Lots of groaning and “that’s bad” remarks all the time with him!
