After Donald Trump's decisive win over Kamala Harris in the 2024 US Presidential election, protests broke out in Philadelphia and Chicago.
According to Sky News, protesters in Philadelphia voiced concerns over women’s reproductive rights, trans rights, and gun laws.
RFI reported that a protester holding a sign that read “Fascism – Not Welcome in Philly” voiced concern over the election result, saying, “The outcome to the vote is extremely concerning.”
Another protester, Isabel, told RFI, “I will let people know that racism is not acceptable. Sexism, homophobia, fascism, are not acceptable in this country. I am upset and sad, I am terrified. I think a lot of people are.”
Cathy O’Connel, a woman from Philadelphia, said, “I went into last night feeling some shred of hope, and I think Philadelphia turned out the vote for Kamala, which is the reasonable vote”.
She further questioned how Americans could support someone “who runs on a campaign which is just about power for himself, power that he doesn’t plan to share, with anyone who voted for him.”(snip)
Meanwhile, In Chicago, members of the United States Palestinian Community Network opposed Trump’s win.
CBS News reported that Hatem Abudayyeh from the US Palestinian Community Network commented, “Our issues are with both parties… Both parties support Israel unequivocally.”
Protest organisers in Chicago said that the current administration had been warned that unrest would follow if the Gaza conflict continued and the US maintained its support for Israel. Abudayyeh said, “They are not going to be able to take for granted the people that are represented here, the movements that are represented here.”
As per reports, protesters marched through the streets, chanting slogans such as “Not My President,” “Free Palestine,” and “Fight for our freedom.” The demonstrations blocked key roads, resulting in severe traffic disruptions.
TANTRUM TIME!!!! They have no clue there’s another election in 4 years ,LOL
Damn! That didn’t take long! Arrest joy bethar for inciting riots !
BTTT
Insurrectionist election deniers, lock them up immediately!
Somebody cue raygun, we need a professional adult to show these people what a temper tantrum from a 2 y.o. looks like
Harris didn’t give a concession speech yesterday, it was a speech encouraging RESISTANCE.
No doubt, it fueled these sad, gullible lemmings.
Isabel and Cathy are perfect examples of why it took so long for women to finally be given the vote.
Soroznazi Satan never relents (or even takes a break)
The democrats created this bs they alone are to blame if any crap starts cause we are not putting up with your trashy words inciteing problems while our crew is trying tofix the mess your fools withboys in girls locker rooms soshut up buttercup....
Sounds like insurrection. Empty some solitary confinement federal prison cells to accommodate them!
But… Democracy?!
Those fools could not even define fascism. And as for homophobia, we’re not afraid of queers. A phobia is an irrational fear; what we have is distaste or disgust for them.
Not your president? Good.
She plagiarized Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and Josef Stalin throughout her “speech” at the hot dog stand. She also plagiarized President Trump by using “fight” throughout her speech at the concession stand.
#Repeal19
“Oh look, leftists acting like 3 year old brats AGAIN-—in other news...”
And why the 19th should be viewed as a failed experiment and repealed.
How much will they destroy? How many will they kill? Some criminals never stop until incarcerated or eliminated. Be prepared.
Not your President? Ain’t your country, either, buttercup.
There are a number of internet sites that give good advice as to where else in the world you may relocate, either on a short term, or with some of your own skills or monetary means, for a longer term. It may include becoming fluent in another language, and certainly being able to provide for your own keep without applying to any “social services”, and maintaining a fixed address.
