CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The wife of a prominent Atlanta attorney accused of killing her husband and burning his body has been found guilty on all counts.
A jury convicted Melody Farris in the 2018 death of her husband in Cherokee County.
Last week, defense attorneys claimed that there was not enough evidence in this case to convict Melody Farris, but the jury felt otherwise.
In 2018, the body of Gary Farris was found in a wooded area behind a house on Purcell Lane.
After months of testing, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation determined Farris was killed by a gunshot.

By all accounts he was a highly intelligent man that founded his own law firm.
She paid him back by having two affairs and according to a jury shooting him and burning his body.
I don’t know how people can do things like that and live with themselves......I couldn’t sleep at night.
From what I heard during the trial she worshipped money.

Never marry an attorney. I don’t know which sounds worse, trying to divorce an attorney or trying to divorce a cop. I’ve heard horror stories about both.

LOL - my attorney used to be a cop. He seems happy in his marriage but I don't know about her...
As for this story; she should be punished for her laziness and lack of ingenuity. Woodchipper pointed over a lake for starters. If it's a rental you can clean it out right there.

At 300lbs a suitcase wouldn’t do. And yet at 130 lbs she managed to dig a grave and lug his body into a field. I’m thinking she had help.
