Where Is the Beef? Americans chow down on a whopping 50 billion burgers a year — that’s three per person every week. This burger obsession has fueled a fast-food culture like no other, where chains constantly compete to deliver bigger, better, and beefier bites. But when it comes to quality, some spots go above and beyond.

Mostly dairy, breeding stock and bulls. One of the guys I worked with had an eye for steaks and I would bring home boxes of t-bones from dairy cows and they were fantastic.

I tried a burger and fries from the then-new 5 Guys near us maybe 15 years ago (maybe longer). I was SHOCKED at the prices then — something like $13 or $14 way back in 2010! Never went back.
