Spouse passed in a hospital in Athens Greece....family got a special permit to transport the embalmed body to her village on the island of Ikaria.

Moving ceremony..Greek Orthodox church...everyone wore black...hearse and procession to the grave.

Biggest expense was the excavator to gig the grave ...Island is so rocky its not possible to dig a grave with pic and shovel

Also my youngest son tripped and fell coming out from the Athens hotel...rushed to emergency hospital with fractured skull...on induced coma and breathing machine..after a month slowly recovered but is disabled...waiting on Dr to see when he is fit to travel.

Dear Dear spokeshave. I am so sorry for your loss and your son’s accident. You are carrying some heavy crosses. My Dad had an Orthodox funeral I know how moving they can be. Love never dies brother. She is just waiting for you.🧡
