I got off very lightly, except for the fatigue. Sleeping twelve hours a day would be wonderful but the bills say otherwise.
I have a physical job, a long commute, a large young dog, a house needing repairs and maintenance...prioritize means house slides...
I have read articles that Ivermectin does help eliminate the spike protean from your body.
The spike could be keeping you down.
Feel bad fir ya. I’ve long covid for two years.
The thing that seemed to help me was ageless male supplement.
I take a half tab a day.
Can’t shake this cough though.
Top it all off..had my second heart attack August 2nd. That was stress related though IMO.
I am not a male....
The following is from a very helpful website for a number of different illnesses: https://covid19criticalcare.com
Two downloadable PDF's linked below are from https://covid19criticalcare.com/protocol/i-recover-long-covid-treatment/
I-RECOVER
Long COVID Treatment
An Approach to Treating Long COVIDLong COVID, a prolonged illness after COVID-19, may persist for months after the acute infection and affects at least 65 million individuals worldwide. A puzzling feature of long COVID is that initial disease severity is not an accurate predictor; long COVID frequently occurs in people who had mild-to-moderate COVID cases as well as in younger adults who did not require respiratory support or intensive care. Patients with long COVID should be managed by clinicians who have experience treating this troublesome disorder. Early treatment is essential; the response to treatment will likely be attenuated when treatment is delayed.
ransomnote: More links and info for other illnesses HEre:
I consumed a tube of ivermectin horse paste during the acute phase of the illness, dosing by weight, which might be why it was mild, no cough, no sore throat.
Maybe I’ll give it a couple weeks and try again.
CVS has a super B compound. I take one every morning with a turmeric capsule and a couple of vitamin C gummies. It jazzes you right up.
Have you tried NAC for the cough? Helps some people. To grab the correct spelling, I performed a quick internet serach and pulled this link. Not an endorsement of the article. :D
Top 9 Benefits of NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) - Healthline
Thank you, book marking.
IV THERAPIES
Methyl B12, Hydroxylcobalamin 12, combo B12, Vitamin D3…
At least once a week.
Thanks
Following....
Prayers up for you too!
Read up on diminished zeta potential, sunlight, and vaccine issues at midwesterndoctor.com, “The forgotten side on medicine.”
fatigue or insomnia? if fatigue, is it shortness of breath when talking or exercising?
My chronic fatigue is not caused by long Covid, but same situation with repairs and maintenance on the property getting way behind the curve. Don’t like it but basically helpless to do much sustained work..
I’ve tried everything... Prescription and OTC, conventional usage and off-label. Probably, Low-Dose Naltrexone combined with bupropion (Both Rx) is the most promising treatment for me yet other than actual stimulants, which you pay for later. Good luck!
To quote the Word of God, from the dust you are made. Dust is dirt and dirt is minerals. I feel my best when I supplement with higher doses of minerals, especially macro minerals (the big ones). Magnesium being the mother of all. Then sulphur, iodine and selenium. These are big for restoring our health and returning us to energy and strength. I’ll tell you more if you want to know more but this will propel you past the sluggishness.
Daily recommended requirement of B12 for an adult is 2.4mcg. If you have the units correct, you're both taking 1,000 times the daily requirement. Sounds quite excessive.
Fatigue. I sleep all too well.
At first a half mile walk would send me to bed.
I raked a bit of the yard today. Out of breath, arms tired and heavy.
It never got into my lungs. No cough. Air exchange should be fine. Breathing feels good.
But cellular respiration might be affected somehow? Like the oxygen isn’t being used right in the muscles, ATP isn’t being regenerated?
Wild guesses.
Get Sea Moss powder from amazon. I had exhaustion from covid that I couldn’t shake and this helped immensely.
This is what I take - 1 tsp per day blended in a small cup of water or coffee. The link from amazon was about 4 paragraphs but it is called Wixar Wildcrafted Sea Moss Powder – (8 Ounces) – Natural Irish Sea Moss and Bladderwrack with Burdock Powder - Thyroid Support, Healthy Skin, Keto Detox, Joint Support Alkaline Supplements
I have read that drinking pine needle tea helps detox from covid. Good luck. It is horrible to deal with.
I got COVID a year ago and have since been suffering from numerous ailments, beginning with sinus infections and for the last 7 months headaches that doctors were not able to find reason after scans of my head.
About a month ago, a test showed that our bedroom has dangerously high mold content. We have had it treated with enzymes, we have taken various measures to lower the condensation in our home that includes replacing the roof, windows, room air cleaner, etc. I also began a detox regiment.
My headaches are greatly reduced in severity and frequency.
Tracing the start of my symptoms back to COVID I realized that I was in my bedroom for 5 days straight only leaving to use bathroom.
I now believe my ailment’s root cause was not Covid but mold exposure. I think others who have long term symptoms from Covid may actually be mold exposure.
