These Are The Most And Least Popular 2024 Corvettes According To Chevrolet...The automaker just broke down the build counts surrounding all 42,934 Corvettes it built for 2024

* Chevrolet just released details about all of the 42,934 Corvettes it made for the 2024 model year.

* With that we now know what the most popular choices were and where the take rates were very low.

* One combination of trim and paint was so rare that less than 10 people requested it.

============================================================

Chevrolet has no qualms about building a lot of 2024 Corvettes and it just announced that it made 42,934 of them. That’s more Corvettes than Toyota Supras, Nissan Zs, and Lexus RCs combined. In fact, the most popular trims outsold those rival sports cars all on their own. Here’s a breakdown of every 2024 Chevrolet Corvette sold, including the rarest of them all.

Let’s kick things off with a breakdown of the three main trim levels available for the Corvette. They are the Stingray, the Z06, and the E-Ray. Of the trio, almost three-quarters (72 percent) sold for 2024 were of the Stingray variety. That makes sense considering that it’s several thousand dollars less than the base Z06.

Next up, the Z06 takes second place with exactly one-quarter of Corvette sales for 2024. Finally, the E-Ray made up just three percent of Corvette sales, with a total of 1,417 cars in that specific trim. Notably, all three trims are available as a coupe or convertible. The most popular was the Stingray coupe with 42.2 percent of the build population. In fact, across all three trim levels, coupes were the more popular choice, as 56 percent of all 2024 Corvettes have a hard top.

Next, let’s talk about paint color since that’s a huge defining feature. Across the 42,934 Corvettes built for 2024, the most popular color is also one of the most boring: Arctic White. 6,493 Corvettes feature that color. Torch Red comes in second place with 6,013 cars across all three trim levels.

Unsurprisingly, E-Ray buyers ended up with the rarest cars in the bunch this year. Across the coupe and convertible, all but two paint colors were sold in numbers below triple digits. The two outliers above double digits are both convertible models – in Red Mist with 106 sales and again, in Arctic White with 128 sales. The rarest Vette for the 2024 model year is the E-Ray coupe in Accelerate Yellow. Chevrolet built just six of them.

I’ve never liked them as cars, but the one I think of as quintessential was the ‘74. :^)

Written as if that’s a GOOD thing....it’s for all the wrong reasons.......nobody wants a hybrid.

Having worked for many years in a big city ER I'm the guy you'll see in the far right lane of the Interstate with his cruise control set at 4mph above the speed limit.

If I won a billion in the lottery I'd opt for a Porche Panamera...V6...sticker price $110,000 rather than a Vette,Ferrari,Bugatti, etc.

Although I must admit that the Bugatti Veyron Vitess that I saw in the valet parking area of the Dubai Mall a few years ago was pretty kool. Yes,it had Saudi plates. Dubai is where rich Saudis go to let their beards down...far fewer rules there than back home.

The hybrid isn’t for fuel economy. It’s to give locomotive like torque at low rpm.

The Acura NSX is a hybrid for this reason.

Volkswagens don’t have good resale value (not that you would mind after having $1 billion)

As for Bugatti’s - this event takes place every year (open to ALL automobiles):

I have an old Corvette, it’s a ‘94 plain jane model. I don’t drive it a lot, sometimes I take the wife out on date night in it but it has been the most fun car to drive I have ever been in. It is really difficult to hold it back. It idles around 700 RPM but will go about 35 or 40 just idling. Nothing corners like a C4 Vette that is what is most fun. Heading up a long express way ramp and getting up to 130 or so and then hitting the brakes hard to slow down to 80 before merging is great fun, something you can’t do in many cars.

I am a Kentucky native. The Corvette plant is now in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It has been there several decades now.

I thought about getting a late model or new but they just don’t look like a Vette to me.

They HAVE to name the first electric Corvette “Yvette.” Miss Mimieux would be so flattered.

Don’t buy a used one in Arkansas. 90% of them smell like Ganga and have been PITed by the State Police.

I dunno what year it was, but I was driving on a long winding backroad with very little traffic when all of a sudden a newer corvette drove up behind my car- they had to wait for a few corners until a straight stretch to pass me, and when they did, holy moley! I had to check if my 4 banger was still in gear or not lol

"I think of as quintessential was the ‘74"

How interesting. I wanted a '70 style "Mako" shark Vette and could not find one in DFW. I found my '74 in Pennsylvania, and it happened to have a factory stock 454. I paid about what a new car costs, and I am thinking it will only go up not down in value.
