Ringo Starr opened up about a serious medical condition that caused him to cancel the last few days of his recent tour.
The legendary singer clarified previous reports that suggested he was suffering from Covid-19 and set the record straight about his recent health battle in an interview with Variety published Oct. 18.
It “knocked me down,” Starr admitted. “It wasn’t the virus — I had that two years ago,” he said, referring to Covid 19. Starr then revealed the horrifying reality he was forced to contend with.
“It was a mad thing eating my body, and they found out when they took my blood that the white cells there was 12,000 of ’em,” Starr told Variety.
The famous singer took a moment to explain the severity of the situation at the time.
“That’s pretty high,” he said.
“And that happens. That’s what saved your life — they were fighting the attacker,” he told the outlet.
Starr explained that he had to undergo medical treatment to overcome his illness.
“And so with pills and medication, I got over it in two weeks,” he said.
Starr didn’t divulge any further information about what he went through, or what may have caused his body to attack itself in such a manner. He also didn’t specify if he had to be hospitalized during this recent health scare.
T. Bone Burnett, who was also part of the interview, spoke out about Starr’s current health, and marveled at how well he has rebounded and how he continues to take care of himself.
“I saw him play at the Ryman a few months ago, and, he took a break in the middle and his dressing room was upstairs, and he ran up the stairs,” he told Variety, making reference to how Starr ran up and down the stairs after a taxing performance that included drumming and singing.
“So I think he’s got plenty of miles left in him,” he continued.
The exact cause of autoimmune deficiencies remains unknown. However, several theories suggest that an overactive immune system may attack the body’s tissues after an infection or injury. This can lead to the destruction of healthy tissues, resulting in various autoimmune diseases.
It has been suggested that Covid vaccines are a cause of autoimmune deficiencies.
Does that help? 🙂👍
“He was the only Beatle that never took himself too seriously. Ringo always seemed to be enjoying life.”
I remember a funny skit from 1980’s Saturday Night Live where Ringo and Sammy Davis JR (Billy Crystal) singing and talking about the Beatle years. Ringo always seems like a genuinely nice lad.
If his issues are CoupFlu vaxx-related, wonder how he feels about the vaxxes now...
I can’t find anything suggesting that he was ever part of the CoupFlu vaxx campaigns that tried to get the populace vaxxed.
At least there’s that.
He won’t have to worry about whether or not shilling for Deep States got anyone injured or killed.
It doesn’t seem to catch up with Charo, either.
Ringo had a number of health issues as a child. In 1953, he contracted tuberculosis and was in a sanatorium for two years. He started drumming to help improve his motor skills.
He’s 84 years old! He looks great for 84!.............
He could be a long hauler, meaning every time he is exposed his system is not able to shed the spike proteins. They hang around, replicating, causing damage.
Sad to say, I am one of them. Living this battle daily.
‘suggested he was suffering from Covid-19’
There’s a hint.
Maybe not a great voice technically but I find it pleasurable to listen to because so much of his personality seems to come through.
You’re 16, looks like he’s having fun

12,000 of them? Sounds like some sort of small parasite.
Oops, I mean, taken in total this sounds like a reaction to small parasites or maybe amoebas?
