Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live as Fox News anchor Bret Baier during the show’s cold open, which spoofed the testy interview with Kamala Harris (Maya Rudolph).
“When I interviewed President Trump, my first question was, what do you think is the most important issue facing our nation? So my first question for you is, give me the exact number of murderers you let loose in this country?” Baier asks the vice president.
However, as Harris attempts to answer, the Special Report with Bret Baier host continues to interrupt her, similar to his real interview with the vice president earlier this week. He then proceeds to ask Harris if she was “here to answer questions or just looking for a viral moment?”
“Oh, please, I am not looking for a viral moment,” Rudolph’s Harris says before looking into the camera to actually join a popular social media trend, “See how I don’t let a man interrupt my answers, very demure, very mindful.”
When Baldwin’s Baier calls her out for just “throwing out memes,” Harris claps back, saying, “That is not true. I am here to reach across the aisle. Hundreds of Republicans have endorsed me because in the club, we all fam” — another viral trend.
“I’m not familiar with the club, but are we all fam?” Baier asks. “You’ve been pretty divisive. You called Donald Trump unfit, unstable, not able to lead, unchecked.”

Funny we were talking trash about him before the interview. Everyone thought he was a lightweight.
I just watched the most biased interview I've seen so far of President Trump on Fox News by Howie Kurtz on his Sunday show Media Buzz. Kurtz is supposed to be the media watchdog reporting on how the media covers the news, but today it seems like he's medias biggest defender as he twists the news coverage of President Trump to make him look like a conspiracy nut.
Kurtz ended the segment by saying that the FCC said it would never pull a license over political disputes.
Kurtz was saying that police were attacked, Trump said his people had no guns. Trump said that in some cases the Capitol Police ushered people into the Capitol building. Trump also said that he offered National Guard to Nancy Pelosi and she turned it down. Trump said that Pelosi admitted that it was her fault to her daughter during filming of a documentary.
Kurtz closed the segment by declaring that no charges of election rigging were ever proven in court.
Kurtz closed the segment with an editorial comment saying there were no police ushering people into the Capitol but there were isolated cases where they were "overwhelmed" by the crowd. He said that Pelosi denied that Trump offered her National Guard units, but that Trump was involved in National Guard discussions in the days prior to January 6.
Kurtz closed that segment by declaring that there was no proof that the Trump campaign was spied upon. I was furious at that point. What about lying to the FISA court to get search warrants? What about unmasking Trump officials on international telephone calls? What about the CIA trying to entrap George Papadopoulos by assets offering him a speaking engagement in Israel, then giving him some money to hold, and then waiting for him at the airport when he returned to arrest him on bribery and money laundering charges? Fortunately, Papadopoulos saw through the scam and left the money with a lawyer in Israel, so the FBI found nothing to arrest him on when he returned.
Trump then went back to the 60 Minutes interview where they completely changed an answer from Harris to say something she didn't say, while they remove comments that Trump said to make it less effective.

SNL could've affirmed its commitment to Comedy by lambasting Baldwin, a la O.J. Simpson. No sacred cows. Comedy without fear.
Of course, they didn't, which is why they're predictably unfunny. But they could have.
bttt
Exactly. He still is a lightweight, but he may just sense the change and want to be relevant.
Alex will unknowingly help him just like he did Trump because Alex is a true knucklehead. 😏😏
If I were in that audience, I would start chanting “Killer! Killer! Killer!”...
“ It was a serious effort to rehabilitate Harris’s image in the wake of her sinking poll numbers.”
If they wanted to make a serious effort, they’d need a bigger audience than the 150 people that still watch that show.
> He should be in jail but the dumb prosecutors in New Mexico blew the case by withholding evidence from the defense. <
Maybe I’m just being overly suspicious. But I wonder if the fix was in. Maybe the prosecutors mucked up on purpose, for “future consideration”.
🤔
Gee… I’m so old I remember when conservative commentators (so-called) were telling me that Kamala had lost SNL and returning to their old anti-establishment ways.
Oh wait that was last week…
He’s a company man
Gamblers are betting on Trump to win the election.
Alec Baldwin should properly be in prison.
Teddy Kennedy killed a woman, got away with it, and kept getting re-elected to the Senate for the rest of his life.
So SNL has already run back to the Plantation.
Why is he not in jail for involuntary manslaughter?
How can they have this creep on the air and people just laugh? It’s sickening.
SNL is ok with a killer.
Yet they call conservatives the most vicious things and without any evidence.

That’s been Kurtz’s schtick from the day that FOX gave him that “Media Watchdog” gig. He demonstrates media bias rather than exposing it like he’s supposed to. He’s a talentless, hack which is why I change the channel on sight when I see him.
