Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live as Fox News anchor Bret Baier during the show’s cold open, which spoofed the testy interview with Kamala Harris (Maya Rudolph).
“When I interviewed President Trump, my first question was, what do you think is the most important issue facing our nation? So my first question for you is, give me the exact number of murderers you let loose in this country?” Baier asks the vice president.
However, as Harris attempts to answer, the Special Report with Bret Baier host continues to interrupt her, similar to his real interview with the vice president earlier this week. He then proceeds to ask Harris if she was “here to answer questions or just looking for a viral moment?”
“Oh, please, I am not looking for a viral moment,” Rudolph’s Harris says before looking into the camera to actually join a popular social media trend, “See how I don’t let a man interrupt my answers, very demure, very mindful.”
When Baldwin’s Baier calls her out for just “throwing out memes,” Harris claps back, saying, “That is not true. I am here to reach across the aisle. Hundreds of Republicans have endorsed me because in the club, we all fam” — another viral trend.
“I’m not familiar with the club, but are we all fam?” Baier asks. “You’ve been pretty divisive. You called Donald Trump unfit, unstable, not able to lead, unchecked.”

Does he pull a prop gun on her?
He belongs in jail. And I do NOT think the armorer is at fault but the Prop director..who by the way was boss over the armorer...and testified in exchange for immunity.
Were the producer and cameramen wearing bullet-proof vests?
That’s one thing about today’s liberals. They have no shame. Baldwin kills a woman, gets away with it, then goes on a comedy show.
The Democrats are only interested in one thing. That is power. It's never about the issues with them.
SNL s a comedy show? I vaguely recall when they were funny, I say vaguely because in my opinion it was decades ago.

Shamelessly pro-Harris “cold open” sketch that was ridiculously unfair to Bret Baier. The premise of the sketch is that Baier was constantly interrupting Harris’ attempts to answer his questions. Wrong. Baier was interrupting Harris’ attempts to NOT answer his questions. When Bret asks a question that lends itself to a simple, direct answer, and Harris responds by filibustering with non sequiturs about Donald Trump, Bret is supposed to let her get away with it? Yes, according to SNL. Of course, we’d expect no less from a garbage show like SNL and a truly nasty POS like Alec Baldwin .
As you noted, SNL was once a decent comedy show. That was long ago. Then they hit one heck of a slump. However, some of the skits they’re doing today are pretty good. I won’t watch the whole show, but I do catch some of the skits on YouTube.
Why even?
smh
(please, nobody click through, don’t watch)
Why now? After 3.5 years? 🤔
Hope Trump keeps him far away from him. He is a known killer, and we know Alec is unhinged and has an irrational hatred for Trump. We don’t want Trump to deal with any more assassination attempts, but if there was one, I wouldn’t be surprised if Alec was the triggerman
I don’t think Alec would find any humor in that.
I would have walked out of there the minute he hit the stage.
He should be in jail but the dumb prosecutors in New Mexico blew the case by withholding evidence from the defense.
Judge threw the case out.

They know she is losing, so she’s a failure and can be made fun of now. Rats don’t want to stay on board with a loser and go down with the ship.
This skit was not designed to be comedy. It was a serious effort to rehabilitate Harris’s image in the wake of her sinking poll numbers.
This should be a help in increasing popularity for Bair.
Democrats never know when to stop and it actually hurts themselves.
It looked more like a reenactment through the filter of their delusional minds than a skit.
