The Democrat needs to remind voters about what they really didn’t like about his presidency.
Kamala Harris’s fate in the remaining weeks of the presidential campaign may turn on whether she can shift the attention of enough voters back to what they might fear from a potential second White House term for Donald Trump.
Since replacing President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee this summer, Harris has focused her campaign message above all on reassuring voters that she has the experience and values to serve in the Oval Office. But a consensus is growing among Democratic political professionals that Harris is failing to deliver a sufficiently urgent warning about the risk Trump could pose to American society and democracy in another presidential term.

A political coup sounds so innocent when phrased that way.
Brownstone is out to lunch. The people who would be swayed by this consideration are already with Harris. There are quite a few voters that don’t care for this or that aspect of Trump’s personality but have concluded that they care more about having a good economy.
I personally hated the $2 gas, 3% mortgage rates and no inflation.
“...Harris is failing to deliver a sufficiently urgent warning about the risk Trump could pose to American society and democracy in another presidential term....”
Harris just needs to be louder and more shrill in her tone and volume, that’ll win over those Trump voters.... ha ha ha
90% of the elements that made people dislike Donald Trump were complete fabrications of the deep state/media cabal. Maybe more.
Democratic political professionals that Harris is failing to deliver a sufficiently urgent warning about the risk Trump could pose to American society and democracy in another presidential term.
Really?
That’s all she has done!!!
Sick of hearing their tripe about this. Dictators in waiting are not invited to the Al Smith Dinner to deliver comedy remarks and engage in cordial chat with the attendees.
Yes keep reminding them of how awful it was to have low inflation, low energy prices and high employment. Do it!
Some threat to democracy. The guy didn’t even jail a single journalist his first term.

...Call off the coming election fraud, withdraw from the race, and endorse Trump.
Indeed. You’d think mass cognitive dissonance would start settling in with the socialist idiots who have bought into this lie. Maybe that’s what’s going to happen when Trump wins. We should all stay as situationally aware as possible.
quote “experience and values”
LMAO
no experience and California values!
How can she remind somebody of a Presidency record when she doesn’t even have one as a Vice President. She was AWOL the whole time, ignoring her most important assignment - Border Czar.
The Atlantic and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
How many more homicidal anti-Trump maniacs are they bent on activating, as if by remote control, with this kind of rhetoric?
Seemingly as many as it takes for one of them eventually to succeed.
Sad to say, for sure, but isn’t this obvious? That this is their goal?
What about .....the risk....”persecutor President” harris.... could pose to American society and democracy..?
I’m reminded of how BETTER the Trump presidency was than Biden and Harris.
Should we not even think about that?
Calling Trump a dictator, Hitler, a threat to democracy who will build concentration camps for journalists and political detractors and immigrants; a man who will start World War 3 isn’t sufficiently dire?
It really comes down to those mean tweets, doesn't it?
Sounds like Mr. Brownstein has been dancing with Mr. Brownstone (Guns ‘n Roses reference).
