Headline story on Drudge is how great Harris did on the debate. Besides Free Republic, Drudge used to be one of my go-to sites for real news. They've gone all-in for Harris. Will never look at them again.
There are serious doubts that Drudge actually does much for that site... I would not be surprised if he sold control of that site to a group on the left a few years ago
Drudge is still good for looking at natural events such as earthquakes and weather events. Politics and cultural stuff is a big no.
Drudge died years ago.
It has been a punchline since then. I was never a devotee, myself.

Drudge is just another person who got bought, black-mailed, or loves the cocktail parties so much.... he stopped being a reporter. Pick one.
So many journalist become part of the system rather than reporting on it. It’s one of the saddest developments in our countries recent history. Journalist used to be on the side of the common person (see 1920’s and 1930’s). Now they are owned by the system and are part of the problem.
They are hard core TDS.
Drudge should be considered for what it is: A modern version of the National Enquirier. Nothing more, or less.
I tend to look at the stories in column two or three, where it goes to weird stories and pop culture. I don’t even give their political stuff a glance because it is pure DNC propaganda.
Conservatives used to have some very influential mass media sources of information; Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, and Drudge. Rush died (RIP) and the Left eliminated the other TWO. They sued FOX into submission, and they bought out Matt Drudge. They want us silenced.

I read Drudge religiously. I want to know how the tail is trying to wag the dog.
It’s very instructive. Then I don’t have to watch the Alphabets or the View.
Haven’t read Drudge in years b/c of its change in policy.
Not sure exactly when it started, and yes, it was a go-to. No longer.
Made the mistake of clicking it on after the Trump/Harris debate and it was full of praise for Harris “beating” Trump.
Will never go back.

was there any official story as to who exactly bought the site etc?...Does Matt Drudge have anything at all to do with the site?
