Benny was a genius.
Men have stronger hands and longer reach. Women can take out men at lower levels of play because they have finesse and planning as their advantages. At the upper tiers of play, there’s a skill gap where the men are picking up on the finesse plays and learning to plan better, while women’s arms and hands can’t change much. I learned better control and strategy from playing against women than men (well, when I could keep my damned mind on the game), but better power plays and tactics from men. That might just have been a player thing, but it seemed accurate to say at the time.
Let’s see them wrestle, as THAT is where the problem is.
Pool doesn’t require physical strength so its a pretty equal game. Its really who is just the best player. I’ve beaten men at pool many times. But I still disagree with letting men play women’s sports.
BREAKING NEWS!!! Female defeats trans player for championship win in epic Ice Fishing competition.
Maybe tranny was pms’ing.
I’m not much of a pool player, but I don’t think there is much variation based on whether male or female.
I remember watching the black spider lady pool player and she was awesome.
That took balls…
Pool, chess, rifle or pistol shooting. (Heck, add poetry reading, writing. ) I cannot physically justify a separate Men’s and Women’s Divisions for a few sports.
But the biatholon? Archery? Horseback riding (dressage), cross-country, triathlon? Males have a 10% to 30% advantage in almost every sporting competition.
Yep, pool, chess, poker, basically most anything that doesn't require significant physical exertion.
There are four times as many male professional pool players than female, so the competition is less stiff?
Like professional golf. One in over 300 men who try out get on the PGA tour; 1 in 30 women get onto the LPGA.
He lost to a girl. Suicide watch.
i have no problem with this, pool should be an all gender ‘sport’ like chess
“in all fairness, he wasn’t used to playing with boobs.”
Having a big pair does get in the way.
Absolutely. There are shots men can take from the wrist that most women would need to take from the elbow, and shots men can take from the elbow that most women need to take from the shoulder.
If it’s anything like shooting sports, women are often naturals. Many make excellent snipers. Both my daughter and my wife became excellent shots very quickly when I trained them. Other guys I know had the same experience with their ladies.
Why have pool championships for men and women seperately, except to have two seperate categories. If that is the reason, stick to the basics... Men and women.
Being able to shoot straight is a big plus in pool.
