I knew that Lebanon patch would get him fired.............
Social media has been crazy because Saleh wore Lebanese flag, his home country. I do not have a problem as what is going on is a tragedy with the non-Hezboullah Lebanese caught in the crossfire.
Give Rodgers protection and receivers who can get open and they can turn this around. Same for Buffalo, receivers need to get open and the line needs to protect the QB and block.
It was not the coach that threw three interceptions on Sunday, that was Aaron Rogers.
Snap Belichick up before the Eagles fire their coach and hire him.
The Jets are 2-3 but not looking too bad. There must be some other reason why he was fired.
Aaron Rodgers looks every day of his 40 years of age.
Bringing him in was a miscalculated and failed gamble to break the playoff drought
Is Saleh laughing all the way to the bank...?
Saleh should’ve been fired three years ago- only Rodgers getting hurt last season saved his skin.
Watch the Jets double down on their foolery and elevate Hackett to HC
That idiot team actually had Tim Tebow and treated him like crap and sat him on the bench.
Jets need to hire a real leader of men like Mike Vrabel. Saleh was a pussy who threw tantrums every 5 minutes and no one on the team respected him. And his support for Hezbollah was yet another stupid distraction for this team.
Now the Eagles need to fire their coach.
The Jets are mediocre certainly, but at 2 - 3 they are certainly not the worst team in the league, and firing your coach mid-season is usually a move of desperation. I wondered on Sunday why Saleh was brought back for this season... Jets should haver made a change in the offseason.
Another coach fired because the GM put together a bad team. Rodgers is washed. He was mediocre his last year in Green Bay and he’s just older now. And then he requested some of his old favorite also washed and expensive teammates. So they’re spending a lot money on guys that were good 5 years ago, and have no real talent on the team. 90% of the time an NFL coach gets fired it should have been the GM. Nobody is winning with this Jets team.
Oh,
Those jets..
Jeez….Jerrod Mayo is looking over his shoulder today! LOL
Gibron was one of the most recognizable and colorful characters in NFL history. In Chicago, he quickly became the city’s most popular sports figure, paving the way for subsequent marketing with a Ford commercial filmed with a model named Melody.....snip....
Listed at 5-feet-11-inches and 250 pounds as a guard and nose tackle from 1949 to ’59, he weighed more than 300 pounds before he became head coach of the Bears. Yet he used to race players and often beat them in short sprints despite his shape and age......snip....
Former Cleveland Browns coach Paul Brown once said Gibron “had the fastest and quickest charge I ever saw.” When he played guard fro m 1950 to ’56, the Browns won three NFL championships and played in six title games. Gibron went to four Pro Bowls before ending his career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1957 and the Bears in 1958 and ’59. That he failed to make the Hall of Fame was a particular disappointment to him. The official NFL Encyclopedia just published lists him among the 300 best players of all time......snip....
Born Sept. 22, 1925 in Michigan City, Ind., to Lebanese immigrants, Gibron joined the Marines when he was 18 and went to Valparaiso and Purdue after World War II. He kept his permanent home in Michigan City while staying in a Chicago apartment or hotel during football season. His father worked in a foundry and gave him this advice: “Dance as fast as you can dance. Run as far as you can run. Drink as much as you can drink. Do what you can. Be as big as you are.”
Saleh was for the most part a cheerleader and an apologist for mediocre effort, and the culture he created lacked discipline snd accountability.
