Sorry, but this is fake news.
Correction, was reading numbers I took to mean individuals rather than percentages (would be nice if the poll had better labels). Not sure of what fraction of the less than 1000 voters were "independents".
I know you hate Trump.
Totally Invented Progressive Propaganda
538 has them as the 120th ranked pollster (Based on the historical track record and methodological transparency of each polling firm’s polls.)
Wow, I did not realize that. Thanks for the correction. I take back my earlier comment.
Actually I don’t. I want him to win. But I see that a lot of my fellow Americans hate him.
Ok, story says Harris leads Trump in the nationwide popular vote by +3.
But Harris is up with Independents by +16.
Doesn’t make sense.
1 - This would mean that Harris is bleeding major support from Dems, othewise she’d further ahead than +3.
2 - How can Indies be swinging hard to Harris, at the same time she’s underperforming with Dems?
More questions than answers with this poll.
Oh. It’s NewsweAk.
This is funny any poll that appears bad for President Trump no matter how ridiculous brings out a few of the concerned trolls
Most people who have been on fr awhile know who they are
Usually they are mocked or ignored
Check out the methodology.
Note the involvement of Datawrapper.
Cooked poll.
We can always depend upon Newsweek to bring us the nonpartisan TRUTH!
/yes, major league sarcasm
In last week’s I&I/TIPP polling story, we noted a significant recent study that found: “In the last year alone, 61% of Americans reported that they have avoided saying things that they believe because others might find them offensive.”
There is almost no other data in other polling supporting this finding. This should be looked at with alot of suspicion
IBD/TIPP were the most accurate pollsters of the 2016 cycle predicting a Trump win when all others were predicting a Hillary blowout. I doubt it’s the same people today. This sounds like propaganda to boost Democrat morale.
I’m taking a poll. With which politica party do you identify?
Democrat.
I’ll take thas as “Independent.”
BOVINE DROPPINGS
“A nationwide poll of 997 people cannot give you a 3.2 margin of error. So, not off to a good start.”
Totally agree.
The key is bias in sample selection that is not representative of the desired target population you desire to evaluate.
Newsweak. 🙄
