After a second negative Daily Mail report about Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff's behavior with women, Emhoff's spokesperson issued a brief statement to Semafor denying one allegation and ignoring another set of allegations.
As RedState covered, Emhoff is accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend across the face so hard that she spun around. Emhoff's supposed reason for the assault was his belief that the woman, who the Daily Mail referred to as Jane, was flirting with a valet as the two left a party during the Cannes Film Festival in France in 2012. Of course, the liberal legacy media ignored the story, and the next day Semafor published a tidbit in their morning newsletter headlined, "Second gentleman becomes a target," making Emhoff the victim, of course:
Half of the political world focused Wednesday on a Daily Mail report that second gentleman Doug Emhoff “forcefully slapped ex-girlfriend for flirting with another man” at Cannes in 2012. Others (including Semafor) haven’t matched the reporting, and as of Wednesday evening the incident didn’t appear in The New York Times or top outlets. But the allegations are a dominant narrative in conservative media: Megyn Kelly’s coverage had more than 150,000 views on YouTube, while Trump aide Stephen Miller demanded answers.
In a statement to Semafor, a spokesperson for Emhoff said “this report is untrue,” and that “any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.” This is a new campaign front: Emhoff has been a key Harris’ advocate, cast as a relatable, enlightened “wife guy” and father who “discussed the feminism of Pearl Jam.” Now he’s a target. A New York Post columnist wrote that if “Emhoff is the new face of masculinity, the Dems are up a creek.”

Hush Money?! Paging Alvin Bragg! Hey Alvin….convene that Grand Jury already. Must be at least 34 felonies here.
BTTT
What is “the feminism of Pearl Jam”?
Yep; Emhoff will never address this directly unless he is forced to.
And there is no media or legal system to force a dem to address issues no matter how important.
What could be more important than reports a man hit a woman?
the left’s new masculinity
knock em up
knock em down
such a gentleman
Funny, though. I’ve seen reports on several sites that “Emhoff denies” etc. But in the text the only statement is made by a spokesperson. Emhoff has apparently not denied anything himself. Is that so he cannot later be accused of lying?
GREAT MATERIAL FOR THE OCCUPANCY OF THE WHITE HOUSE ???????
NOT !!!!!
We’ll have new stuff by then, as I mentioned I’m not quitting my day job anytime soon.
FUGLY
Emhoff is accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend so hard that she spun around.
Like a record, baby!
Believe all victims!!!
Her friends are highly offended at his denial and are urging her to come forward and go on the record.
ANONYMOUS spokesman ... they know he did it, and are petrified if they OFFICIALLY deny it, much worse evidence will surface that proves emhoff’s a liar, so they get ONE ANONYMOUS putz to deny to some rinky-dink outfit called semafor ...
She'll stay silent. I have no doubt the ex girlfriend is a good Democrat.
According to Willie Brown....he DUMPED HER!!
Probably so. If he never addresses the allegation, then he can never be accused of lying about it.
I’m just waiting for some Clintonian sounding statements, Such as a spokesman or Kamala, saying Such allegations are absurd. To say an allegation is absurd does not either confirm or deny anything.
But since Emhoff is Kamala’s husband,I doubt the story is going to last long.
A story such as this about Trump or JD Vance would be getting wall to wall coverage up until election day. But when the target is a Democrat these sorts of stories can the minimized.
Dick Emhoff sounds like a lovely person.

Dick’em Off.
Lovely.
