I’ve actually had ferals (momma and kittens) come up the stairs on my back deck next to the woods desperately trying to get inside my house. Not one sound, just pushing and nosing at the door when I opened it to shoo them away. They weren’t afraid of me, but they weren’t friendly, either. They were definitely feral - momma wasn’t even a fully grown cat, either, not first generations of a throw out cat, IMO.....
I’m allergic to cute little kittens 🤧
You just don’t seem capable of handling cats.
You don’t seem like you’re capable of much, either. Except contrarianism. Take a break and no need to reply to me any further. Thanks.
They are just using the old hitchhiking trick. Put the pretty girl on the side of the road with her thumb out, and the others come out of the bushes when a car stops.
The first kitten was to get him to stop. Then the rest of the (adorable) gang moved in! I couldn’t leave them by the side of the road either, seeing how they could get run over, attacked by a predator, attacked by a Haitian, or get some disease.
I see the switch on the kitten distribution system got stuck in the “Open” position.
I adopted my beloved kitty Zizu from an adoption center when she was 7 months old and recently taken off the street. At first she was a bit shy, but you couldn’t shove a piece of paper between us now, 9 years later. She’s always within a few feet of me, if not on my lap. Purr, purr.
As suggested by the eagerness of those particular kittens, they are still young enough to be trusting of people.
I did that once, there was a tail less cat on the shoulder of the freeway, pancaked. She had big udders, you could tell she was nursing. I pulled off and entered the Hotel parking lot from a back road. Found a passel of baby kittens. I took them all home, and raised them. I kept one of them and she was the best ever, to me. She ran from my kids, from my GF at the time. But she flat out loved me. She never got bigger than a kitten, but she had babies. The babies were just like her, small, and with no tail. I named the Cat Li’l Bit, her babies were Tiny Bits, and she was stolen, and her baby whom I kept, got ran over in my driveway. GREAT CATS...
My God. A surprise sneak attack.
That’s an abundance of kitten cuteness! 😺
Manx Cat?........They are naturally tailless...............
Please save us from the Haitians!
It is about cats, and not everyone is good with them.
I don’t know whether a feral animal can become a house pet, but house pets start behaving like feral animals when abandoned. My hometown had a problem with packs of dogs that would attack smaller dogs and people. Now and then, the police had to pull up and shoot the larger dogs. The local paper investigated and found that people in the wealthier surrounding towns had been dumping their dogs in our town. Some were caught pulling up in their cars, pushing their dogs out, and driving away. Coincidentally, back then, the Republican party ruled our town. I don’t think the dog-dumping was political, though. I think people in the wealthier towns just looked down on our working-class town, and they didn’t care about their pets, either.
Little kittens definitely can be house broken and it is common.
