“Chroming” is the latest trend to gain traction among teens — and it’s claimed the lives of multiple children.
Similar to huffing, “chroming” refers to the practice of inhaling chemicals from common items like permanent markers, aerosol deodorant, nail polish, paints or hair spray for a short-lived high, according to CNN.
“Most of these products are easy to find in homes and cheap to buy in stores,” Dr. Betty Choi, an author and pediatrician told CNN. “(Chroming) can become addictive when it’s done over and over again.” “Chroming” — a term derived from sniffing chrome-based paint products — has resulted in deaths and hospitalizations of children in recent months, and prompted concerned parents to speak out.

well everything kids can get high on should be highly regulated. except natural stuff like marijuana. or alcohol. or sex-changes. lot of drugs used there. when I was growing up it was survival of the fittest. now survival of the dumbest is the making of YouTube videos. how far do we have to fall? getting worried now
Easy solution. Stop selling all of these products in any of the retail stores and require a signature before releasing these products. /s

apparently the latest gen-X saying is “if you don’t die enjoy the high”...for all 10 seconds of it.
I suppose the government will want to ban chrome-based paint products for the “good of the children”.
