Not sure I’ve ever seen “woman’s brain” and “reorganized” in the same sentence before (a sexist would say) . . .

This seems like how nature intended. Of course the focus should turn to the baby once pregnant.

I thought it was the first bite of the wedding cake that did it.

The study, the first of its kind, was based on a single subject: University of California, Irvine cognitive neuroscientist and study co-author Elizabeth Chrastil, a first-time mother who gave birth to a healthy boy, now four and a half years old. Chrastil was 38 during the study, and 43 now.

This woman is very old for a first pregnancy.

I don’t think that this study would necessarily present data that is typical for a mother of a more typical first pregnancy age of 16 to 22.

Is that why they want to kill their unborn child?

My guess is that the woman’s body redirects fat from the woman’s brain to that of the child.

The gray matter is mostly fat so evolutionarily it makes sense that that fat resource would be tapped during pregnancy to ensure the development of the child.

In a woman with adequate caloric and fat intake why it would still be tapped I have no idea other than millions of years of evolution where that was not usually the case.

My wife’s brain reorganizes about every half hour or so - Usually the reorg has something to do with the way I walk or breath or stand still... : )

This is true. My wife became a different person during and after pregnancies. It takes a while to recalibrate for all, but it's certainly ok in my book. Now that she just retired from working, it's a similar scenario and I like it.

Women's emotions and critical thinking ebbs and flows like tides in life. Men.....not so much. Very large immovable objects that bore easily and make bad choices frequently.

Could the type of scan used make a difference? I would guess they used MRI..and not X-ray or radioactive material.
Now they gotta correlated scan info with behavioural changes...

Did they define what a woman is before the study?

If so, someone should pass that on to the progressives.

It would be very interesting to conduct this study on female third year medical school residency students. It is very common for women in medical residency programs to wait until the third year to get pregnant as the academic load decreases substantially during this period.

I would expect the changes to be even more substantial in these subjects.

There is a shift in consciousness during pregnancy that facilitates the changes in biochemistry. Emotional bonding between mother and child is ctlritical for fetal development.

My own research shows that autism and Asperger’s Syndrome are correlated with level of emotional bonding between mother and child during the third month of pregnancy.

It would be interesting to look at specific brain regions rather than just cortical layers and how these differences relate to age and cortical development. The prefrontal cortex, where analytical thought processing is done, does not fully develop until age 25.

This research, while being valuable, is a single subject case study that may not be representative of the genrral population.

My current investigative research involves the effect of the Covid-19 vaccine on increasing a shift similar to the findings in this case study. It is causing changes in the neural links between logical masculine consciousness and emotional feminine consciousness that stabilizes a person’s thinking. This disconnect is the reason that the entire population is becoming more emotional and irrational.

It has to to with amygdala processing vs hippocampal processing in the brain.

This same separation in consciousness is what is causing the decrease in the pumping function of the left ventricle of the heart, associated with Covid-19. It appears to be blocking neural function in the AV node, the HIS fibers and the perkunji fibers carrying the electrical impulses to the right ventricle.

The influence of masculine vs feminine consciousness on the anatomy and physiology fascinates me. Everyone has both to varying degrees. This also influences personality development and gender identity.
