Russians are furious with Vladimir Putin's regime after Ukraine destroyed an important ammunition depot in Russia on Wednesday.
Ukraine fired around 100 drones at the depot in Toropets, in the Tver Oblast of Russia.
Kyiv says that Iskander and Tochka-U missiles were stored there alongside bombs and artillery shells.
Video footage shared online showed the depot up in flames after the attack.
Now, Russians have raged at the authorities for allowing the attack to happen.
Posting on a Toropets chatroom on the social media site VK, one woman said: “Why wasn’t the ammunition underground?! What are you doing???? In Kudino, houses were blown away! Why is the forest burning and no one is there... What kind of negligence is this!!!!”
On the Toropets chatroom, another commenter said: “People, does anyone know what’s happened to Kudino village??? They told me nothing is left of our house.”
One person added: “It’s horror there."

Anyone proficient with Russian military doctrine?
because it seems either stupid, inept leaders or intentional as I believe this is ..2nd for sure maybe 3rd major ammo dump they have lost. Why don’t they start spreading the dumps out in 3-4 smaller ones?
I told that other Ukrainian propagandist that one good thing about this is it proves they don’t need our long-range missiles. They’re doing quite well without us. We won’t have to fight Russia.
It takes time and resources to build the needed additional ammo dumps of this size.
More replacement munitions means more money...just like in America.
JMO, YMMV

Ukraine to it’s further demise has not fired anything long range into Russia before now. The idiots are going to figure out their folly pretty shortly. Putin has done everything possible to stay calm and not do a major escalation. If he gets replaced, WW3 is next. There are those behind him that will ratchet things way up. The people that are deciding things for the west are retarded war mongers. Russia has over 1 million troops in service. The EU?? The US just under 300k actual combat, how many in todays military are “Karen’s”?
It is possible the Russians stuffed the Toropets ammo dump with North Korean missiles beyond its ability to safely store them. The bunkers were too close together. The Russians may not have had any place relatively close to Ukraine to store them. Another possibility is that they ran out of space underground, and munitions were sitting above ground at the time of the drone attack.
Good to see you Marcus, I thought you were in custody. They didn’t give you a smart phone in jail did they?
“Toropets lies...some 470km north of the border with Ukraine.”
“Kyiv has...struck as far as 1,800km (1,118 miles) in the past, when a long-range radar was hit in the city of Orsk.”

The ammo dump I guarded in the Marines was underground.
Where do Russians build theirs? 10 story buildings?..................
It is possible that the site was at overcapacity. See #9. The Ukrainians might have noticed munitions above ground and took that moment to launch an attack. The trains carrying the missiles and other munitions to the site have to offload and get out of the way.
The invasion of Ukraine was a major escalation.
The idea that Putin (and Russia) has been holding back does not seem very likely. It is not completely implausible. Look at the U.S. policy during Vietnam, or U.S. policy during Korea. Political considerations meant the U.S. held back and reached a stalemate in Korea, and lost in Vietnam.
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!(((PING!)))
I have no previous knowledge of these Ukrainian long-range attack drones:
http://www.hisutton.com/Ukraine-OWA-UAVs.html
Ukraine has used drones to attack numerous targets as far, and more, for two years now. I think the record was something over 1000km. There have been numerous attacks in and around Moscow.
That was why, for instance, Ukraine has been able to cause significant damage to cracking towers on dozens of oil refineries. Those are sensitive small targets where a small warhead can be effective.
Ukraine has also used drones to attack distant airfields, fuel depots, ammo dumps, etc. The only important difference in this case was that the ammo was supposedly in bunkers. That would make it proof vs a small warhead.
The problem with drones has been small warheads due to limited availability of high energy power plants for drones. Lately Ukraine has been showing off jet powered drones. Maybe this is a first use of these.

Bombs and artillery shells could be placed in woods and covered with tarps.
Russia is a big country.
